Ciel POV~

=====================================================

I can feel the darkness start to leave my mind. Everything starts to clear up and the feeling of despair fades away. ' What was that?... It sounded so familiar... What.. did it mean?... Am I going to disappear?... I am going to cause pain for everyone?... I can't do that... They have been so kind to me...Glitter or... Shadows?...' I am barely able to recognize the voice of Finny, who is speaking to me.

"Ciel...," he asks quietly, turn his head in my direction.

I look up at him.

"Yes...," I question back, my mind still slightly foggy.

"Wake up," Finny called out.

His hands cupped my cheeks and then pinched them. He let go and looked into my crystal blue eye. My eyes widened in shock, then a giggle passed through my mouth. Laughs echoed through the lightly empty area. I peered up at him, a grateful grin etched onto my lips.

"Thank you, Finny," I voiced. "I really needed that."

He studied my face for a second, then a grin split out on his face.

"No problem, I'm happy to help," he declared, saluting slightly at me.

He stared at me for a while, seeming lost in his mind. Suddenly a bell rang out, his eyes widened in shock.

"That's the breakfast bell," he yelled.

He grabbed my hand softly and tugged on my arm. Together, we ran towards the heavenly smelling food tent. Finny pushed the flap open and pulled me inside. Chatter was floating in the air as many of the people ate. Finny lead me through the pavilion and towards the steaming food. He grabbed plates for both of us. He delicately tried to hand me the plate, but it slipped through his fingers. I immediately reached out and caught the plate in my right hand. He blinked, his mouth hanging open in a silent gasp. His eyes slowly found their way to me, the plate safe and sound in my pale, cold hand. He let out a loud sigh and looked at me.

"Oh... thank goodness," he whispered. "Bard and Sebastian were getting mad at me for breaking a lot of the plate. If I had broken another?"

He let out a wince. I giggled again. 'Finny really has a way of making people... happy... I only make them ...suffer.' That thought, then immediately shut out that thought.
