Callie's POV
I've been staring at these papers for what seems like forever, i'm 2 minutes away from losing my mind, literally. My Exams are so close and if you know me you'll definitely know how much i hate this period of time, being stressed all the time, not sleeping well, feeling anxious and overwhelmed, fear of failure, not being good enough and letting my parents down, all these emotions are a lot to handle at once, believe me.
My phone is buzzing, i left the papers on the desk and grabbed my phone.
1 new message from Shawn
From Shawn:
" hi, what are you doing?"
From Callie:
"breaking down, wanna join?"
From Shawn:
"no thanks, my anxiety is killing me already, but what's wrong?"
From Callie:
"Exams are SO CLOSE, i barely sleep, i study all the time and i'm so anxious"
From Shawn:
"seeing the cleverest girl in our class saying this gives me hope, shut up you always get the best grades, you used to tutor me,remember?"
From Callie:
"it's not about being clever, it's about fearing of failure Shawn, and actually the term 'failure' is different for everyone, failure for me is not getting what i put for myself, not achieving what i thought i'd achieve, even if the results are pretty appealing, i'll still see it not good enough"
From Shawn:
" Callie Johnson, i love it when you talk like a wise woman to me"
And for the first time today, i smiled, not a fake or forced one, i genuinely smiled, cause after all he is still the only who can cheer me up.
From Shawn:
"i will do my exams online, watch me fail them all cause i don't study that much, i spend all of my time at the studio"
From Callie:
"i'm pretty sure you'll pass with a good grade! You don't study that much but you still get good grades, it's weird"
From Shawn:
"it's only because you were tutoring me"
From Callie:
"it's just because i'm such a kind person 😌"
From Shawn:
"do i need to remind you that every time you tutored me you made me take you for luch, you're such a cruel person"
From Callie:
"Moving on, i' ll go study this human being cell or whatever they call it, and if you're free study for a bit"
From Shawn:
"okay, good luck sis"
From Callie:
"Thx bro"
I closed my phone and went back to studying, texting him lifts my mood no matter how bad it was.

Shawn's POV
i closed my phone and grabbed my laptop to start studying like Callie told me, but as soon as i started i got a FaceTime call from my mum, fuck studying now.
"hi mum" i said when her face appeared on the screen.
"hi shawn, how are you hun?" she asked smiling.
"i'm good, i just miss you all so much" i said with a small smile.
"we all miss you too dear, but 2 months already passed, your first sigle will be out in less than a month and you'll visit us soon right? " she said reassuring me.
