Hey guys, just to let you know, this is just a filler chapter. But enjoy this chapter.

For the next few days, Nya was mad at all the boys, besides Jay. During training, fixing their mechs, and practicing Spinjitzu she wouldn't speak a word to any of them. Not even Kai. The tensions between them was so thick, you could cut it with a knife.

When she wasn't with the other ninja, she was trying to find a way to prove that Emily was evil. She wasn't doing anything crazy or creepy, like taping her every single second, but observing her very far away, where Emily couldn't see her.

They finally got Jay's mech mostly fixed and had a while before school was suppose to be back in session.

It was Tuesday when trouble came back. And by trouble, it was Garmadon. He was in his shark mech and was charging into the city. But he was without his army of minions.

The ninja all got into their mechs and got ready to take Garmadon down. Jay's mech was good to go, but it just didn't have all the fighting systems back online. So he would just have to be careful.

They charged into the city, but were surprised when they all saw Garmadon head in the opposite direction of Ninjago City Hall.

"Why is Garmadon headed away from City Hall?" Cole asked though their communicators.

"I don't know, but let me check it out." Lloyd said, and flew closer to Garmadon mech.

Garmadon didn't look to good. He was still in his pajamas for one, and he looked super tired. He had a runny nose and looked like he wanted to barf. Lloyd slowly got close to him to ask what he was doing, but kept his distance incase it was just a trap.

"What are you doing, Garmadon?" Lloyd asked his dad.

Upon hearing the Green Ninja's voice, Garmadon turned his head, frowned, and said, "Look, Green Ninja, I'm not here to take over Ninjago."

"Then what are you here for?" Lloyd asked.

"I'm here to get medicine for my cold." Garmadon replied, then coughed. "Just because I'm an evil warlord doesn't mean I'm not incapable of getting sick."

"Okay, but why did you bring your shark mech?" Lloyd asked.

"I didn't have any other vehicles, well other than my old motorcycle, but I haven't used that in years." Garmadon yelled, then sneezed.

All the ninja looked at each other from their mechs. Was Garmadon literally not trying to take over Ninjago today, or was this a trick.

"Can I just go and get my medicine, so I can go back to my volcano and rest?" Garmadon asked.

Lloyd didn't reply, but moved his mech so Garmadon could go and get his medicine. Then the ninja all went back to their base.

"Did anyone else find that a little weird?" Jay asked.

They all said, "Yes."

"Well, at least now we know Jay's mech can fly again." Kai said.

"Now we have to just fix the weapons." Nya said, not looking at her brother as she walked to Jay's mech with a wrench in her hand.

They all worked on their mechs, although mostly on Jay's mech, and were about started their training, when Master Wu can out.

"Ninja, you will not be doing your normal training today." He said, walking around them with his staff.

"Then what will we be doing?" Zane asked.

"I have noticed that some of you are having some trust tissues," he said, looking mostly at Kai and Nya, "and you have to trust each other to be a team."

"So what?" Cole asked. "We do some trust falls?"

"Not exactly." Wu said, a mischievous smile on his bearded face.

———
Nya, Jay, and Lloyd all stood on the roof, all looking at their friends and master below them.

"Umm, Uncle Wu, isn't this a little... extreme?" Lloyd asked, a little nervously.

"Yeah, why do we have to fall from way up here?" Nya asked, not trusting her brother to catch her.

"This way, you really have to trust your teammates to catch you." Wu said to her.

"Well, it's scary!" Jay yelled down to him as he sat down on the roof, afraid to stand up. He was a little freaked out by heights and was scared of fall.

"Now," Wu said, addressing his other three students on the ground, "when your partner falls, you have to catch them, showing them they can trust you."

Kai, Cole, and Zane all prepared to catch their partners when they fell. They wouldn't admit this, but they were a little worried they wouldn't catch them.

"Lloyd," Master Wu called up to his nephew. "Do you trust Zane to catch you?"

"Yeah," Lloyd called down to him.

"Then turn around, close your eyes, and fall from the roof." Wu said.

Lloyd looked at Jay and Nya unsure. But he turned around and closed his eyes. He slowly fell backwards, off the roof and was caught by Zane. They let out a breath they hadn't realized they had taken in.

Wu looked at his nephew proudly, before looking up at his other two students on the roof, silently deciding which one would go next. He then came to a decision.

"Jay, do you trust Cole to catch you?" He asked the blue ninja.

Jay, still afraid to let go of the roof, looked over the side at his best friend. Cole was smiling up at Jay and held his arms out, trying to show him that he would catch him.

"Cole, do you promise to catch me?" Jay asked him.

"Yes Jay, I promise, I will catch you." Cole said to his friend.

Jay finally let go of the roof and stood up, his legs a little wobbly. He turned around and looked at Nya before he closed his eyes. He then slowly fell off the roof, where Cole was ready to catch him.

Jay open his eyes and asked, "Am I dead?"

"Nope, your still here." Cole said.

Wu smiled again and looked up at the final ninja on the roof.

Nya looked at Kai unsurely. Normally she would trust her brother with her life, but he had broken her trust when he told the others about them spying on Jay and Emily. And, although he didn't tell Jay, Nya felt she could never trust him again.

"Nya," Wu called up to her, "do you trust Kai to catch you?"

Nya looked at Kai, who was holding out his arms like Cole did with Jay, only he didn't have his usual smirk on his face. Instead, his face looked, almost, sorry. Nya looked at Kai, then Wu, then back at Kai.

She turned around and closed her eyes. Then she started to slowly fall, just like Jay and Lloyd did. Then, she landed safely in her brother's arms.

Kai seemed surprised to catch her. But then, his smirk returned and Nya couldn't help but smile. It seemed that was her brother's way of saying 'I'm sorry' for now.

"Okay, now you will switch places." Wu said.

The next few falls went great. Nya caught Kai without any hesitation, and Lloyd caught Zane easily. Jay on the other hand didn't exactly catch Cole, but he gave him a soft landing.

"Ouch." Kai said. "That had to hurt."

Cole quickly got off Jay and helped him up. "Jay, you okay?" He asked.

"Well, except for a bruised back, I'm fine." Jay said.

"Sorry about that." Cole said. "But thanks for breaking my fall."

"Ha ha, no problem." Jay said. Cole gave him a pat on the back, then Jay groaned in pain.

———
Little did the ninja know, they were being watched. Emily was watching them, and she didn't like what she saw.

"Great, they're trusting each other again. This might be a problem." She said to herself. "Looks like I'll have to speed up the plan." She then left.
