Back to Normal

It had been a week since the ninja defeated Emily and everything was back to normal. Well, mostly everything was back to normal.

Jay was finally finished repairing his mech and making sure everything was fine tuned when Nya entered.

"Hey Jay, what are you going?" She asked.

"Just finishing fixing my mech." Jay answered. "What are you doing."

"Just came to see how your mechs doing." Nya said, but that wasn't all she came here for. She came to apologize to him.

She walked up to him and said, "But Jay, your mech wasn't the only reason I came here. I came to say I'm sorry."

"For what?" Jay asked, looking completely surprised.

"For not realizing how much you mean to me." Nya said. "You're more than a friend to me Jay."

"W-what do you mean?" Jay asked, still shocked.

"I mean that you've always been there for me. When I need a study partner, when I need help fixing my mech, or even when I just need to talk to someone, you're always there to help me." Nya said. "And I'm sorry for not realizing it sooner."

Jay was now blushing so much he looked like a tomato. He felt so happy that Nya thought he was all that and more. For the first time... he was speechless.

"T-thanks Nya, that means a lot to me." Jay said, finally finding his voice.

"So... we're good?" Nya asked.

"We're always good, Nya." Jay said.

Nya smiled at him and wordlessly pulled him into a hug. Jay happily hugged back with a huge smile on his face.

Nya slowly pulled out of the hug and looked Jay square in his eyes. Her chocolate brown eyes locked on his sapphire blue eyes and vice versa. Then, she leaned forward and pressed her lips against his.

After a minute or two, they broke apart, and Jay was once again speechless. Every time he tried to say something no words came out. Nya giggled a little at it.

Then Nya said, "Jay, you mean more to me than you could ever know. I love you."

Jay, finally finding his voice, said, "I love you too, Nya."

They once again got close to each other and kissed again. It was a great feeling for both of them.

Finally, they broke apart again and Nya said, "Come on, let's go sing some karaoke at Laughy's." Nya grabbed Jay's hand and together, they walked towards Laughy's.

But just as they were leaving the docs, Nya hear Garmadon's volcano go off. She looked in the distance and saw a soldier flying through the air with fire around them.

She couldn't help but notice that this time, it sounded less like a grown man and woman, and more like a teenage girl.

Nya smirk and now knew who it was. The blond haired snake had finally gotten what was coming to her. Nya only wished that she had launched her out of the volcano and no Garmadon.

'All well ends well.' Nya thought to herself as she and Jay walked towards Laughy's. And she was right.
