epilogue
"Breaking news. Eighteen-year-old Gabriel Edmonton has been arrested for the murder of seventeen-year-old Kelly Anderson, and on charges of impersonation and fraud.
"It has come out that Edmonton was communicating with Anderson via letters for two months prior her death, pretending to be his best friend Francis Wood. The letters where anonymous, but Edmonton left enough hints to make Anderson think it is him.
"Officials say that Edmonton planted the seeds that lead to Anderson's spiraling mental health. He convinced her friends to abandon her, claiming it was all for a harmless prank. He also severed communication with her via letters after she became dependent on him, leaving her completely alone.
"A search of Edmonton's room showed extensive viewing equipment that he used to spy on Anderson, whose room was a few doors down and across the street from his. He was spying on Anderson, and when he saw that she was readying herself to commit suicide, he broke into her house. Policr say he confessed that Anderson was not going to go through it and, 'She had to die and the b**** was not going to do it so someone had to. I had to.'
"The police were ready to rule it out as a suicide when Anderson was found dead in a bathtub full of blood and water. It was Wood who went to the police and told them about his suspicion. He said that he heard Edmonton muttering about someone finally being gone. He also found letters that Anderson was supposedly writing to him, only to find the answers to those letters in Edmonton's room.
"Edmonton's motive is still not clear.
"It is a sad day today as we mourn the loss of a bright star in our community. A memorial service will be hosted this coming Sunday, and we'll be updating you with more information soon. Please respect the privacy of the family in this trying time.

Well.
Did you expect that?
The first time I wrote this, this whole chapter didn't exist and Francis was actually Anon. He found the letters in Kelly's room and he cried. But I think this ending is better. Unique in its own way.
And hopefully a great plot twist.
Thank you for reading this story! It's been a pleasure rewriting this.
Now I'm going to take about a week or so break until I finish setting up another story. I'm not sure what it's called yet, but I'll be announcing details soon.
See you next time,
Sage
