Okay so I'm not in any medical field of study or even med school or anything but my friends planning on doing that so she gave me all these medical puns and yeah.
I sat across from Daniel as we did studied in the library. Year 2 of med school was kicking both our asses. We'd known each other since last year when we became dorm mates and got along pretty well.

"Oh Jesus."

"What."

He nodded his head to a girl who just walked in behind me. She was small and looked down as she walked. She held a textbook to her chest and her book bag was so big I was surprised she could even move with it on.

"She's cute," I said not even filtering what's coming out of my mouth. But she was. Her hair was a mix of brown and blonde I didn't even really know how to describe it. She didn't seem to have a lot of makeup on but it suited her well.

I was still staring at her like a weirdo when Danny said, "Dude, no. You don't understand." She literally walks around using medical pick up lines and puns. It's the weirdest shit."

I laughed. "Holy shit. Seriously?"

He nodded grimly.

I watched her sit down a few tables to the side of us and said, "That's kinda awesome."

I saw him throw up his hands out of the corner of my eyes.

"Whatever, dude. Go for it. I give up."

I got up from my chair and walked over. I wasn't really sure how I was supposed to do this but there was no turning back now.

I casually sat in the chair across from her. She looked up from her reading long enough to give me a skeptical look and wentback to studying. Okay, here it goes.

"I'm sorry to bother you; I just wanted to let you know that your so hot you denature my enzymes."

She glanced up at me again but this time theres a smirk on her face and a gleam in her eye.

"Sorry," she said, "but the quickest way to my heart is a bilateral incision on the upper left region of my sternum."

"I should've known. I guess I was just so distracted because you give my heart premature ventricular contractions."

She reached her hand out to me.

"I'm Megan."

I shook her hand and say "I'm Will. Come with me."

She got out of her chair and followed me. Still hand in hand, I lead her to an isolated part of the library. I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her. She kissed me back as her hands traveled around my neck and through my hair.

"You know," she said, her lips only centimeters from mine, "if I were an enzyme I'd be DNA Helicase so I could unzip your genes." I laughed slightly against her neck and I kissed my way down it.

"Well, if I were endoplasmic reticulum would you want me smooth or rough?"

"Why don't you just show me what you can do." And with that I kissed her on the mouth hard and we didn't return to studying for a while.
