This chapter is much shorter, sorry :/

Ah, the year 1912. Great year. That is, except for the fact that the titanic was now sinking and everyone was going to die. Kirstie ran through the corridors, calling out the name of her sister, Sarah, who had been exploring when the ship had hit the iceberg.
"Sarah!" She called out, though her voice was drowned out, quite literally, by everyone's screams. "Sarah!"
"Kirstin!!!" She heard her sister call out, though her voice didn't sound quite like it was supposed to, but Kirstie ignored that fact and ran in the direction of her sister.
A crash shook the ship, many people screaming in response, though Kirstie kept on going, determined to reach her sister and be with her, even if it meant they would die today. Kirstie finally saw her sister at the edge of the ship, crying, so she ran at the fastest speed she could until she finally made it to her sister. Kirstie reached her hand out for Sarah, though the smaller on didn't take the hand. When Kirstie didn't feel anything touch her hand, she looked up at her sister to see an evil grin spread over her face, then she reached both of her arms out to the side and fell backwards, the grin never once leaving her face.
"Sarah!" Kirstie shrieked as she watched her sister plummet into the water. With the adrenaline rushing through her veins, Kirstie lept over the side of the boat to get to her sister, diving graciously into the rushing currents.
She swan deeper and deeper into the water until the pressure made her feel like her head was going to explode, though she kept going, determined to find her sister. After she finally spotted the younger girl, Kirstie picked up the pace of her swimming, ignoring the lack of oxygen her body was feeling. She finally made it to Sarah, but stopped when she saw the grin still on her face, now scaring her so badly she forgot about her situation until she went to gasp and inhaled a litre of water. Panicking, Kirstie began swimming up but felt something tugging at her ankle, pulling her deeper. She looked down though she saw nothing, so she continued swimming up, ignoring everything else around her, though she should have been paying attention. A current swept her to the side, carrying her away into the darkness of the water, the lack of oxygen finally making her pass out.
Kirstie woke up coughing on the sand of the warm beach, the dark night sky bringing a sort of peace to her. Well, that peace was short lived. Kirstie stood up immediately and began looking around frantically, calming down a bit when she saw a town in the distance. She began walking down the beach, something 'calling' her to the rocks that were along the way. Finally, she made it to them and looked down to see a small pool of water, it seeming to glow. In a trance, Kirstie reached down into the pool, but pulled her hand back, hissing in pain as the water was boiling hot though it showed no signs. As if the Earth turned sideways, Kirstie fell head first into the pool involuntarily, every inch of her skin burning, Kirstie wishing that it could have been cooler. Almost as if on cue, the water cooled down to a more comfortable temperature, which instantly made her wonder if it had been her had done so.
-
Now, looking back on that day, the lady now knows what it had been that had cooled down that pool for she was looking at it, right in front of her mirror.
