"What? No way! Soarin' confessed?" Fleetfoot asked, both shock and joy taking over her face. "Yeah, he did. I don't know why though. We barely even talk and then all of a sudden, he likes me? That's super weird," I replied. Fleetfoot and I went out for a fly, since, you know, we have no practise today. It is Sunday after all.

"Okay, that's true. But, I still have one more question," Fleetfoot said as she began to fly slower. "Then ask away," I replied as I lay down on the closest cloud.
"Do you like Soarin'?"

My eyes widened and my pupils shrunk. "Why would I like Soarin'?! He's super annoying! And my reputation!" I replied almost instantly. What I didn't realise was that my face was heating up. I was blushing. "Uh huh," Fleetfoot commented with a slight smirk on her face. I groaned. Great. Now Fleetfoot thinks I like Soarin'. Could this day get any worse?

"Hey, Crashie!"

*Sigh* I guess I spoke too soon.

"What do you want, Soarin'?" I asked. I don't know why I did. I didn't care anyway. (Oh Dash, we know you care. Stop it with the lies.)

"I just wanted to, um, to ask you something, even though you rejected me," he said while scratching the back of his neck. "Um, okay?" I said, obviously puzzled.

"Will you go out with me?"

OH C'MON!
----------------------------------

"SoarinDash! SoarinDash!" Fleetfoot chanted. Ugh, she's been doing this since Soarin' asked me out. And that was 1 week ago! I know you all are wondering if I went on the date, and as sappy as it sounds, I did.
I mean, I did feel bad about the rejection. And don't worry, my reputation is safe. I made the 'date' look like a hang out so no one noticed. Awesome thinking, Dash. And I know what you're thinking.

WE'RE NOT DATING!

Anyway, I just came back from a really hardcore training session and I am bushed. As I headed to my room in HQ, he came.

"Hey, Dash," he said. I turned around tiredly. "Wha-Soarin'? Ugh, what is it? I'm tired," I replied coldly. "I just wanted to say that that date was great," he commented while looking down at the surprisingly clean floor. "That's the millionth time you've said that," I said in between small yawns.
He smiled. "Well, yeah. It was really great. I can't stop saying it," he replied.

I yawned again. "Whatever," I groaned. I then continued my journey to my room. And guess what. He followed me. "You look tired," he grinned. I rolled my eyes. "Ya think?" I said, now tired and annoyed. "Why are you even following me?" "I don't know," he said, "what if you dooze off in the middle of the hallway?" I sighed. "Fine," I mumbled.

Finally, we arrived to my room. "Goodnight, Dash," Soarin' said a smile planted on his face. "Night," I replied right before I went inside and closed the door. Once again, I yawned. I then crawled into my bed, and within less than a minute, I drifted off to sleep.

A/N: Hi guys, what up? So, how was it? Good, bad, weird or cringy? You tell me in the comments. And I'm sorry if this chapter was too short. For now, later!
