previously in Chapter   6,    Adrien's  POV:  Still, why does she remain in that silly chair? The chair is not that comfortable. It is hard as ever. Why she will ruin her back. She sure is a strange one. I should not have let my father talk me into this arrangement. It is all wrong. She is fragile one and needs love. Love,I can never give her! I look around in shame at the the awful thought that I have hurt her despite my very promise not too. I might not have physically wounded her, but I did emotionally.

Now for the current Chapter, Adrien looks at Marinette in shame.  He knows now he is a horrible husband.  He may as well have told her the truth as to this whole arrangement.  Maybe then she would not be so angry.  Then, again, that would probably only makes way worse than they were already.   He thinks, ugh!  Why did I go through with it?  Why?  She is too good for her own good!

"Marinette, come on at least move from the chair.  It is way to hard.  Look, if you makes you feel better, you can have the bed!  I will sleep over there on the the small bench.  It is the least I can do under the circumstances."  Adrien remarks.

Marinette looks at him.  She can not believe her ears.  She does not say a word, but finally moves from the chair.  She sits on the edge of the bed.  She still refuses to look at him.

"Adrien, I-I do not understand.  You made a promise to marry me, and another never to hurt me.  You already broke the second one."  Marinette says sadly.

"Marinette, I can not help it.  Can you not see it is not that easy?"  Adrien says.

" I am your wife!  How could say such things to me?"  Marinette says.

" It is not my fault.  I love another woman!  I have for as long as I can recall! " Adrien confesses his horrible truth to her, or part of it at least.

"How could you?"  Marinette looks at him with a fury in her eyes and voice. She reaches up and slaps him hard across the face.  She aims for his left eye and bam!  She gives him one black eye for sure.

"Ouch!  I thought you said it was your father that was violent! " Adrien yells at her.

"Well, even a dear can we mean when it needs to be, Adrien!"  Marinette says.

"Oh, yeah!  We will just see about that young lady!"  Adrien says, as he grabs her arm to keep her from slapping or punching him again.

"Let me go!  I insist you let me go!  Why should you keep me here against my will?"  Marinette says.

"I will let you go then, if that is what you want!  I must warn you though, you will regret this later!  Oh, and if you come back you must beg me to forgive you."  Adrien says.

"As  if I would even bother, when you hate me!  I hate you, Agreste!  I hate you!  You user!  You let me think you loved me and it was a lie!  So long,  Adrien!"  Marinette says.  She packs her things, and leaves the hotel room.

As she walks away, Adrien calls after her, "Marinette, at least take an apple with you!"  He tosses an apple out the door.  He looks at her in surprise as she catches it.

Adrien's  POV:  Oh, boy!  Wait until my father hears about this.  I mean it, we barely have been married for an entire day.  Already we have had a fight and Marinette  decides to leave.  I will not stop her though because why should I ?  It is true what I said, I do not love her!   Still, I hope she finds some one more suitable for her who loves her.

Marinette's  POV:  As I walk away, I feel tears fall down my cheeks again.  My own husband hates me.  He hates me!  I go because he does not want me.  I  did not mean it when I said I hate him.  I love him!  I just can not be with him because he despises me.  I can feel it in his voice and see it in the way he refuses to give me a proper kiss. It must have been a huge moment of disgust for him to kiss me at our wedding.   I mean, why not?   It is not like he ever felt something for me.

Adrien  waits until she leaves, to close and lock the door back.  He paces back and forth.  He still has no idea how to tell his father she left.   He can not tell him this, nor the fact that is it is own fault anyway.  He had to be the one to go and reject her love for him.  He really is a foolish boy!

Marinette runs outside.  She is not sure where to go, or who to turn too. She does not care either, since she found out her marriage was a scam.  It was nothing more than just some lies told.  The only thing, she tries to understand in all this, is why did he go through the ceremony anyway?

Marinette heads to another hotel. She checks in under the name,  " Blueberry Gal  54."  This is the name she went by back in high school to hid her true self from everyone.  This is the name that made her feel safe.  She smiles as she heads towards the room.  She goes inside, sets her stuff down, puts a sign on the door that says, Keep Out!  She locks the door, and goes into the bathroom.   She sits down on the counter and eats the apple. She brushes her teeth.

Now on her own, she watches some tv.  She finds some silly movie about a princess who grows up and marries her true love the prince!  Marinette yells at the screen, there is no such thing!  True Love is a myth!  No one ever really finds love this way!  I sure did not!

Meanwhile, Adrien has no idea where Marinette is right now.  He does not care to find out either.  He needs some time on his own anyway.  Some time to think about what to do now.  Some time to figure out where to go from here.
