Five years later, Louis is in his room playing. He comes out to speak to his parents. "Mom, Dad, I need to tell you something," Louis says.
Marinette smiles as does Adrien. "Go on then, son," They remark.
Louis pipes up, "Mom, Dad, I have a request to make." He sees them look at each other than back to him. He is glad to have been brought into their family all those years ago. He understands he was chosen, but that makes him happy.
"My request is for a kitten or a sister," He adds.He mostly hopes to have a sister. He just brought up the cat since he was not sure about how it will work out when it comes to a sibling. For all he knows it might be hard for this to happen.
"Louis, we will see about the kitten," Adrien tells him.
"Adrien, Louis, I have something to share with you both," Marinette grins.
"What is it?" Louis asks.
Adrien looks at his wife with surprise, but continues to smile. He thinks could it be. Nah, that is not it is it. He sees Louis shrug his shoulders in confusion.
Marinette blurts out, "I see no reason the lad cannot have both!"
She hears the boys as she refers to them in her mind laugh. She thinks what is so funny. It is not like she said anything that was funny. At least, she did not think so anyway.
" Adrien, and Louis, I mean it, I am pregnant so the sister is a definite maybe, and as for the cat it is just a manner of finding one at the shelter," She adds.
No sooner had she spoken then, Adrien and Louis hugged her.
"Wow, I am going to be a father again! " Adrien squeals with delight.
"I am going to be a brother!" Louis feels as if he could burst with happiness.
"I can see you are both pleased," Marinette responds. She sure hopes the baby is healthy enough to make it this time. She dares not voice her concerns out loud though. She rather not worry Adrien or Louis. Besides, she is not as far along with this one as she was the one she miscarried before the adoption of Louis, she thought.
