|| Chapter 7 ||

-Dave's P.O.V-
I couldn't keep going, this hall is so long and I still can't find Sportsy. Am I going to die? I try to keep trudging on but I fall

.
I landed on something... no...
someone.
I feel hands pull me up gently.
"J-Jack?"
"Thank god!" We're the first words I heard from Old Sport for the longest time, I was pulled into a tight hug. I could feel his heart beating fast in his chest, then slow down just a little.
"Wh-why did you come back for me..?" I said as I pulled out of the hug, the lights suddenly turned on, thank god.
"What do you mean 'Why did you come back'?! I love you you idiot!" His face was wet with tears, he pulled me in for another hug.
"Y-you.... you love me back..?"
"Of course I do! I-I thought I was gonna ruin everything for you," he paused for a bit, "but then I realized.. I only hurt you more." His face held guilt, he was facing a wall trying to hold back a waterfall of tears, which he failed doing. So, with enough built up courage, I wiped the blood off my stained lips and...

-Jack's P.O.V-
I wasn't expecting it, but he pulled me in for a kiss. Maybe I should've expected it? All I knew was that after he pulled away, I put my head into the tall aubergine man's chest out of pure embarrassment and because I turned into a cherry.
"Awww, you embarrassed..~?"
"I miss the innocent one already."
Dave chuckled at the sentence, he then rested his head on top of my own.
"Maybe we should go back to work tomorrow, unless... you wanna stay for a little longer?"
"We can stay for two more days, settle into this.. to be honest this is completely new for me." I said in response while his hand cupped my cheek. My head leaned sideways into it.
"So... we're really together now...?" He looked into my eyes. I held his hand that was on my cheek.
"Yes, Dave, we are." I gave him a sincere smile and squeezed his hand harder. He picked me up bridal style.
"Well let's go to the hotel and get rest for tomorrow!" He said with the most confidence I've ever heard from him. I yawned and started to relax into his arms.
"Yeah.. I think I really need that."

If you think this is the end it isn't. I have "extras" planned in my head (bc I planned past this). So ummmm, I think two more chapters??? Seems right to me ;)
Also this chapter doesn't have a name cuz I wanted to leave it mysterious >:3
