Roger's P.O.V.

It's been 2 years since I had joined Smile. We had been going well till now and even recorded some songs with Mercury Records! It was a new experience for me and for the others. Having to experiment with our insstruments, staying up till dawn, recording was tiring, but it was awesome

My friendship with the boys has grown, especially with Brian. I trust hin like anyone now. He is my best friend; the only person I trust the most. Whenever I have troubles, the only person I feel that can understand me and be on my shoes is him. No one else. He also tells me about his troubles too. Even though Tim and I get along, my friendship with Brian is stronger. He makes me live, understands me, supports me, and loves-

"Hey guys!" I jumped like a fucking cat when I heard Tim come in.

"Jesus Tim you scared the shit out of me!" I screamed.

"Sorry," he said, "Anyway, this is Freddie Bulsara. He studies design as well." A young man-probably our age or a bit older- was behind Tim, with a cigarette in his hand. He had long black hair, dark cinnamon skin, dark brown eyes, and an odd jaw. There was an orange scarf around his neck and was wearing a brown coat.

"Hello there," he greeted, "Nice to meet all of you. Tim has talked a lot about you guys."

"Nice to meet you too Freddie," I replied. Brian then came back from the restroom. My heart started pounding as I saw him. It really obfuscated my mind.

"Hey there!" Brian exclaimed, "Who is this Tim?"

"Oh this is Freddie Bulsara. He studies graphic design with me," Tim said. Freddie introduced himself to Brian.

"I heard your music. I must say it's amazing!" Freddie said.

"Thank you," Brian said, blushing a bit. He was quite shy, it was so adorable I-

"T-thanks?..." I thanked him. Tim eyed me suspiciously, Brian didn't say a word.

"No problem," Freddie said, "I'm in a big hurry and must be going. Bye!" He left the room with Tim, and it was only Brian and I in the room.

"Freddie seems nice does he?" Brian asked, placing his Red Special in its case.

"Yeah he is, not as nice as you," I said. He then turned red as a tomato from ear to ear.

"Well thanks Rog," he said, "You are nicer than me I'd say. My face then turned crimson red for some odd reason. Brian and other people have given me compliments and I had never reacted that way to a compliment, unless...

No! There is no way Brian would like me because I'm like a brother to him! He is my best friend!

Do I even have feelings for him?...

Do I?...
