"Fuck it! We haven't found the ideal one yet!" Freddie yelled, kicking the table, "We already had 15 fucking bassists audition and none of us liked them!" Brian just sighed in exasperation and Roger layed his head on the wall. Just then, there was a slight knock on the door.

"Roger could you go and open it?!" yelled Freddie. Roger walked towards the door and opened it. There, was a very young boy, standing with his bass in his back. He had long, brown, wavy hair, large brown eyes, a pointy nose, and was wearing long black jeans and a black button up shirt, along with some brown boots.

"S-sorry I'm late, are the auditions still available?" he asked, shyly. By the look in his face, Roger had noticed he was very young-probably around 17-,but also shy.

"Uh..." He looked at Fred, who just sat in one of the chairs, "Sure, come in." John came in to the room, looking all around. He looked at Freddie, then at Brian and then at Rog. So this is Queen, he thought.

"Hello!" greeted Freddie, "What's your name?"

"I-I'm John Deacon, I'm 19 years old, and I'm studying Electrical Engineering." John stammered.

"Oh ok, please darlin', play us something, anything you like." Freddie said. John got his bass out and began playing something he composed. When he was, done, the three of them were left in a vast shock.

"W-wow!" Brian exclaimed, "That was amazing John! You do have a talent!" The rest nodded in agreement. John just smiled.

"I totally agree with Brian," said Freddie, "You are, AMAZING. I think you are ideal for Queen!"

"John, I'm very impressed by your skills. They are just perfect, flawless, sensational! You are the ideal one for Queen," complimented Roger. John blushed a bit by Roger's compliment, and Roger did a bit too. Brian's look was filled with jealousy, but neither Rog, John or Freddie noticed.

"T-thank you!" thanked John, still flattered by Roger.

"Welcome aboard John," said Freddie, shaking John's hand. He gave a cute smile and eyed Roger for a while. Roger eyed him too, smiling at him.

"Thanks again," said John, "I must be going now. When are we practicing?"

"Oh, um... Saturday, at noon," Freddie asked.

"Oh ok, bye guys! And thanks again!"

The 3 of them waved goodbye at John. They were immensely happy and relieved that they found the ideal bass player. He was better than the other two they had in the past. Not just for the skills, but for the personality. Even though they only talked for like 15 minutes, the still liked John, and a lot.

And that's when Queen really started.
