I answer my phone to colin feeling annoyed.

What? I shout feeling stupid annoyed and a mixture of far to many feelings rushing to my brain to comprehend, what I have just done.

You need to hurry your ass up, you asked me to remind you of the time since you were spending time with grace. Matt says 

Matt why you calling me on colin's phone?

My battery died on mine, I've been I the boxing gym all day, dweeb.

I'm on my way, I say through gritted teeth hanging up quickly, knowing I need to get my change of clothes for after the gig as well as needing to change before meeting them, I rush to get home.

I can't believe I fucked up a perfectly good day, and I need to deal with Owen on top if it too.

I leave Adam, I stunned over that last conversation, this is why I no longer fate full stop, I should just stay single, finish what I need to then sig  my new contract with the band.

I had been writing more songs lately since meeting Adam, that was the only upside to meeting him right now to be honest, glad I know what he's like now that  further Down the road.

I never learn my lesson, I've only ever been in 2 relationships, 1 was cheating on me constantly and the other  clung to me for dear life like a buoy.

Okay I need to get ready, I text Lisa for her help, and it seems Doris text saying she was in her way here too, well it could be worse I say to myself as my rings.

I nearly let it go to answer phone, but I decide to answer it last minute.

Yeah, my mates bands playing why? I ask while answering my door both Lisa and Doris appear at the same time I gesture them to enter as I wait for an answer.

Oh erm. ... your playing live after nightmarden see you there, he says.

Wait David, what do you mean the bands playing after nightmarden? I say my voice getting high pitch, as panic starts to set in, he's already put the phone down as I slump into the sofa my head in my hands.

For the 1st time, I see Doris, change her face from a grin to a huge smile.

Looks like we need to get you ready for your fans, and a change of clothing for after Lisa heads straight to my wardrobe as I switch on my laptop, Doris looks over my shoulder as she see me looking at the bands website.playing tonight in new york bar bars after nightmarden, it's all over twitter, Facebook and instagram too.

She goes go the kitchen grabs 2 beers and passes me one.

We just get a few of these and a whiskey or 3 Down  you, I heard your music you better than good.

She pulls me off the sofa pushing me towards lisa.

Right undressed, shower I've laid out your clothes, bag is packed, we will sort hair and make up when your changed, Lisa slaps my ass and pushes me in the direction of the bathroom with instructions.

Great, i say unenthusiastically, I quickly shower, brush my teeth, get changed,  spray some perfume before leaving to see lisa and Doris, to do my hair and make up, I look In the mirror

I can do this I say to myself, trying to give myself a peptalk and the  check my hair after i gave it a quick semi permanent red hair dye colour I just did.

I step out to see lisa and Doris, okay so?

I love the hair colour, Doris says smirking going getting me a glass of whiskey.

Time for your makeup lisa says, after 20 minutes she steps back, Doris swop places.

Okay now your scaring me I say, she laughs as Doris starts finishing my make up smiling.

Their Doris says turning me to the mirror

Wow, is it really me? They both laugh as lisa hands me my glass now refilled.

Neck it, the taxi will be here in a minute. I do so with no questions, I feel a million dollars ready to get on the stage, I'm shaking not with fear though this time, but with anticipation, Doris says grabbing my bag off my bed passing it to me.

We step out of the taxi, the unlikely trio and make our way to the bar.

Lisa says it will tell matt we are here, I grab 2 whiskey chasers, a mai tai cocktail and 2 beers. 

As I pay Doris whispers don't worry we make Adam pay for upsetting you, for some reason we both laugh.

As I pay see David come yo hug me, you look amazing G, taking my bag, he says I will put this in the dressing room for later, relax. I nod as he walks off I greet my band I haven't see for 6 months, quickly introducing Doris, my friend.

Lacey says to Doris, well if your as good as my best friend here tells me, you are more than welcome to join us, hopefully this one will stop pussy footing around and sign our producers new contract

Come on guys... not now, we have fans about.

As I deal with an old male fan who's been following us since the beginning. He hugs and kisses my cheek asking for another autograph, photo. 

I smile and nod give him a picture as more start to arrive.

I grab Doris arm before she leaves and whisper, lacey is right you want to join us, there's always a place for you if you get fed up with, I nod in the direction of Colin and Adam on stage. Who are watching us, and i hadn't noticed till now, she nods and walks backstage as I am now crowded by even more fans.
