Grace's point of view

I quickly shower and change entering back into the dressing room, wearing what Lisa had put in my bag, I didn't look before I left and I just got changed without thinking as I look in the mirror

Nice pick Lisa I say, checking my reflection as they redo my hair and make up.

Lisa smiles handing new a glass of whiskey, I down it in one, I need another plus a beer I say as David knocks entering.

Fuck me... he says making us all laugh, your fans await and drinks are ordered, he says smiling, I will put your guitar away somewhere safe. 

Thanks, I say giving him a kiss on the cheek, making him blush as I exit followed by the girls.

I take a deep breath before moving passed the curtain to the other band members, as fans see me and run asking gor autographs and pictures.

I oblige knowing it part of the job, as I see our old producer coming towards me, lisa and doris go take a seat.

Gracey, gracey, gracey, the studio and the contracts are ready to sign when you are, you have out done yourself again and not even 24 hour warning to your fans. 

Well I had 1 hours notice, I say smirking, I'm not signing anything yet Jonesy. I walk away smiling to the barman who serves me quickly.

Please, grace think about it, matt appears at he side of me I think to myself, perfect timing, as I tell Jones, speak to my manager, nodding to matt who laughs.

I whisper to matt, I'm not signing anything yet, and he creeps me out. Matt laughs again.

My client miss valentine has spoke Mr Jones, we will be in touch when she's ready, Jones passes matt his card before he storms out, I pass matt a beer before we both burst out laughing.

You turned him down, Colin says.

Yes, I did. taking a sip of my beer.

Why? 

I sigh, many reason we will talk when our fans aren't around, I tell him nodding to the side, as he notices people watching us, he smiles.

 I look to Adam who is surrounded by more fans one with a tongue down his throat, explains where he was so much for another chance.

Can we drink somewhere else? I ask, both Colin and matt nod, I gesture to Lisa and Doris who follow, by jess, nicki lacey and David moves people do we can get through, staying veins do we can move without being followed.

We sit in half 5, on 2 benches making no room for fans to sit, as I answer colin's burning questions.

So why didn't I go with Jones, I look at Colin as I start to explain, he's a dirty perv, he takes credit for others work, he runs of his own schedule, we dealt with problems on the last album we wrote, but it was down to him, I mean take your pick, there's other reason I won't go into here.

Adam finally joins us, I go to the bar, i leave colin talking to lacey as nicki and jess go back to the hotel, doris and lisa call it a night, I ask matt to join me, you okay princess?

I shake my head, don't know to be honest matt. I can't work him out, I gesture towards Adam.  he keeps plays hot and cold, that's why I stay single, I can't pick blokes to save my life, they are either clingy or they cheat on me. I sigh

As the barman comes, I order 6 beers, a round of tequila shots, if which me and matt take the shots 6 each one after the other, with lemon and salt.

You got me princess, matt say moving his hand up and down his body. I laugh.

Hey, don't give me Ideas when I've been drinking, I say laughing, hitting his stomach lightly.

As we walk back with the beers, Adam is sat listening to us, lacey leaves with colin, who says he's taking her back to the hotel, I wink at colin and say, don't do anything I wouldn't, making matt laugh and nearly spitting back up his beer.

So princess, more beer for us. He says winking at me, but 1st little boys room, I laughed as Adam moves down the bench and leans across asking

Can I talk to you?

Why? I ask draining my beer, picking it another.

Adam's point of view 

I started drinking after grace left the stage, I had girl left and right, not knowing where to go, I don't deserve even a chance with grace.

Colin came back and whispered, your an idiot in my ear.

He's right, I am. as I see grace come from back stage she spots me, as another girl sticks her tongue down my throat.

She shakes her head and walks to the bar, I tried to get her attention, but looks like I screwed up yet again.

I see her laughing with colin and matt, my jealousy rears its ugly head once more, I want to storm over and go mad but after what I just did or should I say didn't stop happening, I have no right.

The girl on my knee tries whispering, your place or mine honey? As i look back up, I see no sign of colin, lisa, doris, matt, grace or her band members, but David is sat at the bar, Finishing his drink.

I leave the girl as she exits looking annoyed that I turned her down,  I speak to david.

But before I speak he says, you know Adam... I have  known grace since she was 16 years old, when she started this band before they were well known, she only been with two guys, the 1st who clung to her for dear life, to the point where he nearly suffocated her, quite literally with a pillow, he hick ups, because he was jealous of anyone who got near her, the other he says as the barman fills his glass passing me a beer, David is way, passed the point of being drunk at this point. Thanks david says to the barman

The other one, he continues to tell me, cheated on her continuously, he told her how to dress, how to act, he continuously accused  her of cheating which she didn't, he beat her, made her feel so low, and worthless, it's bad enough....

She has no family, he hick ups again, but the girls and me, I drink feeling shocked.

she never told me anything no wonder every time I asked her about family she changed the subject.

Anyways my point, David  says as he puts his index finger to my chest, A piece of unsolicited advice, your an idiot adam, she likes you, its rare for her with any guy, your about to make a big big mistake, he finishes his drink in 2 gulps, there at half 5 by the way, fix it... he says quickly before staggering out.
