Jeff said his men could handle the clean up but since none of this would have happened if Larkin hadn't kidnapped me I sort of felt responsible. "No we will stay and help you and your men have helped us when you didn't have too. I drug all of you into this the least I can do is help clean up this mess."

"Okay but maybe you should clean up first not that I don't like the view but we all might get more work done without such a distraction." I smiled because this wasn't the first time the Alpha of Pine Ridge Pack had hit on me in the last twenty four hours. He had seen the craziness of all the men in my life and yet he still made remarks like that. I had the feeling it was less about flirting and more about his personality maybe this was just the way he was.

"Maybe your right I know where I can get some clothes." Mason and Jackson were cleaning up the foyer when I walked through. "How are you both feeling?"

They both looked up at me but it was Jackson that walked up to me "I haven't had time to thank you. You are crazy for doing what you did and I should probably kick your ass but thanks." Jackson hugged me as I laughed

"You should have known I would do whatever it took to get you out of here. Beside you drive Derrick to crazy to lose." Jackson stepped back and I looked at Mason

"You look better than you did earlier." He nodded but didn't say anything I knew Mason was confused by all the men in my life. I had tricked him into helping me because I had too. Now I owed it to him to be honest. "Mason I need to talk to you." I made my way up the stairs and was relieved we I heard his footsteps following mine.

I needed to change clothes and I needed to talk to Mason explain why I did what I did. I knew he wouldn't hurt me or at least I hope I did. I know explaining this wasn't going to be easy but explaining it in front of anyone wasn't an option. I made it to Chelsie's door without either of us speaking a word. I opened the door and held it open until he reluctantly walked through.

"Mason I am sorry for everything."

Mason stood with his head lowered "I understand you have nothing to apologize for I would have done the same thing. I am only staying long enough to help clean up the mess Larkin made then I will be on my way." Did he think I didn't care at all

"Like hell you will." His head shot up "You are coming back to Mississippi with me and my pack. You are going to join our pack and you are going to be one of my generals." I hadn't really thought that last part through but it came out anyway. Uncle Rick said I needed people I trusted well hadn't Mason risked everything including his life to get me free.

"I don't like to share Arianna I see all the men you have in your life and I don't think there is room for me." Well when he put it like that he was right.

"I don't need more men in my life trying to complicate it. I need friends that understand that I have a lot on my plate and romance isn't on it. I know that I used you and it was wrong but I do care about your friendship. I can't offer you anything more than that. As long as you understand that you are welcome in my pack anytime. I will never forget what you risked for me." Mason smiled

"I would be honored to be your General and your friend. I have never really had a friend though so it could be a rocky road."I laughed

"Well I have never been an Alpha responsible for a pack so let's make a deal you help me with the pack crap and I will help you with the friend stuff." He held out his hand and I shook it

"I can handle that" Mason was happy I had been worried this conversation wouldn't work out but it did

"I am new to all this but I do not want to be treated like a child. Do not hover over me and if I tell you to do something please listen to me. I have enough men trying to protect me right now and it is driving me crazy trust that I know what I am doing and that I can protect myself." Mason nodded I wasn't sure he was going to listen to me but at least he acknowledged he heard me.
