"leaving so soon?", you flirtatiously said with tired eyes. you got up from the bed to face the muscular back of Taehyung who was putting his shorts back on.

"seeing you now, I'm having second thoughts", he sexily smirked while coming and standing in front of you. and in about a few seconds his lips were engulfed in yours, his hands stroking your cheeks while he pulled you in deeper.

"Y/N I don't know what it is about you but everything seems so different whenever we're together", he smiled as you both gasped for air. his face turned sour and you immediately noticed. even though you happily made up for the lost time, you could tell something was up. "penny for your thoughts", you asked.

"I really don't mean to upset you but I just need to ask. do the officers maybe think that the event that happened in your room and the one with your parents could maybe be linked?", he announced.

"um...so the police here don't really know about the incident with my parents", you admitted.

"what?", he said while stroking his ethereal hair. "you could be in danger!".

"the killers won't be getting out of jail anytime soon", you shrugged, "they were charged with first degree murders and excess drug related charges".

"drug related?", he said with wide eyes.

"yeah, the killers were apparently going through crack withdrawal. when I was younger, our town really turned bad. there were gangs and murders and the drug level was extremely high", you watched his eyes grow even wider as he listened to your story. "it was concluded that they broke into our house to find gold, money and things to sell so they could get money for the drugs". you looked over at Taehyung who seemed so quiet as he went of into deep thoughts.

"T-Tae? are you alright?", you said as his head suddenly jerked up. "what? yeah, yeah. I'm fine", he gasped.

"I think I should leave now, I don't really want to piss off Jin as you guys are family friends and all that", he said while reaching out for his jacket.

"oh..erm..well, about thattt. he isn't a family friend he is actually my guard", you nervously said.

"a guard?!".

"Jaesun hired him. I know, I know it's a bit melodramatic", you sighed.

"it's really not, it's a nice feeling knowing you're safe and protected", he smiled with a glint in his eye. his hand moved up to your face and he softly caressed your cheek with his thumb. you nuzzled into his touch. he bent down to close the distance between the two of you and gently placed his lips on top of yours. you carefully went on your tip toes to reach his tall height, you felt him chuckled against your lips before he moved his hand and pulled you up towards him, tasting his sweet lips.

your heart warmed as you felt your life go from depressing to full of light.

"sup mom and dad!", Gina shrieked, interrupting you and Taehyungs make out session. "is the argument over or is this your way of saying goodbye", she teased.

"we made up", you timidly smiled.

"yeah and we decided to make out in celebration", Taehyung smirked while placing a hand on your shoulder which sent shivers down your spine.

"you guys should finish off at my art showcase tonight! we decided for full glam style. you guys have to come", she excitedly demanded.

"I can make it", Taehyung nodded.

"of course I'll come", you smiled to her.

"see you then", Taehyung waved before winking, sending you into a frenzy, and walking out of the door.
