Rain poured down, the pitter of the droplets surrounding the male who stood in the middle of nowhere. He stared down at his hands.

His hands. His hands were normal. Clean. Nothing on them. Nothing in them, just nothing out of the ordinary. So why did they feel different?

He felt different. He didn't feel right and in all honesty he didn't feel good. Tears rolled down his face, hidden by the rain droplets around him. He never really liked to cry, who really does?

He felt different. Not like a normal person. He wasn't a normal person. He wasn't a person. He was an android. Antagonized daily. Perhaps that's why he felt awful. He couldn't describe it but he had a problem. An error in his programming.

The androids had gained their freedom awhile ago, lead by a dear friend of his, and yet he still felt trapped. He had deviated, correct? Yes. He had. And yet, he still felt as if he was looked at like a machine.

But, He still felt different. And he didn't know why. A familiar voice ringed through his head. A woman's voice. He couldn't exactly pick out who it was.. What was her nam-

"Connor!"

Connor turned around quickly, only to see a familiar face. A very familiar face.

"Markus. What are you doing here?" He asked, voice fragile, like it could break any instance.

"What are you- you doing out here?!" The taller male asked, slowly forcing his way through the rain, next to Connor.

Connor just stayed quiet, continuing to look over into the dark distance, fog covering the city bellow them, only the lights showing through the dense miss.

Markus watched him close, examine every twitch, every moment on the mans face, attempting to even have a remote clue on what the android was feeling. His nose would twitch whenever he sniffled, his eyelids duped, giving him a saddened look. His face was red instead of the normal milky white, he looked. Lost. Markus let out a sigh, before his hand trailed up, patting Connors shoulder softly.

"Come on bud. We should go home," the older model spoke, earning a slight head nod from Connor. Of course, they didn't live together, but Markus would gladly drive Connor home if, perhaps, he didn't have a ride home. Connor slowly looked examined the small amount of shrubbery around them. Or. Around him. The grass was greener than ever before, even if it was a dark and gloomy day. The trees had gorgeous, pink, blossoming flowers along the branches, rose bushes covered the ground, surrounded by a small zen gardens. These patterns of plants and decorations were now surrounding Connor, paths of white rock lead out to a small island in the middle of a lake that just.. seemed to appear.

Connor looked back over to Markus, giving a soft grin "I think I should just call hank. Thank you anyways Markus," The robot spoke, voice a little bit stronger, like he had been comforted by something.

Markus raised a brow, but soon nodded in response. He gave a small rub to Connors back before sighing "okay then, i'll see you later. Maybe tomorrow we could go out!" He smiled, Connor giving out a soft chuckle, quickly nodding "make it a date!" He exclaimed. Markus, of course, nodded. That statement filled him with excitement. A date with Connor? It was quite weird for the two of them to be together, the famous deviant hunter and the deviant leader, but they would make it work.

"Yes! Of course! With that being said.. I'll see you tomorrow" he whispered, presuming Connor would find his way home. He turned, a simply began to walk.
