Kelly's Point of View

My mouth literally dropped open when I saw the girl walk into the room. I remember seeing a picture of her and it was hard to miss. Her long brown hair and electrifying green eyes were burned into my mind because she was the person that played an important role in everything. She walked between Dole and Kayden saying nothing. She was the last person I'd expected to see here. This changed everything.
There were so many questions lingering in my mind. What was she doing here? How's she know Dole and Kayden? Did Kyle know she was here? How did she get here?

She seemed to ignore me, even though I wasn't wearing clothes and hiding behind Dole like my life depended on it. Kayden wasn't mentally sane and who knows what he would do knowing she was here.
"What are you doing here?" Kayden spoke, breaking the silence.
"Dole brought me here, I asked him too." She responded calmly, standing her ground, not seeming to be afraid of Kayden in any way.
"I'm still waiting for a reason why you are here." Kayden replied impatiently.

"Because I want to be free, I'm sick of this game you and your friends are playing with me." She snapped, causing me to flinch at her tone.

"Well maybe if you'd been a good little girl, then this wouldn't have happened, you're lucky I decided to let you live all these years." Kayden snarled.

"I can't even believe-" she paused and that's when she finally realized that I was in the room.

Her eyes stared into my and she gasped when she realized that I wasn't wearing clothes. She walked over to me and grabbed my arm, yanking me out of the room and down the hall to the guest bedroom. Before we left, she told Kayden that their conversation wasn't over yet. I stood awkwardly as she slammed the bedroom door shut and turned to face me. She said nothing but opened up her bag that she was wearing and threw me some clothes.

"Here, put these on. Luckily for you, I'm a short twenty three year old." She said and I thankfully took the clothes and ran into the bathroom to change. Once I was dressed, I walked back out to see her sitting on the bed, an exhausted look on her face.

"Did he do what I think he did?" She asked, looking up with a concerned look on her face.
"No, he didn't, but he was close too." I replied.

"Damn it, I figured this was what he would do. I'm so sorry." She apologized, but I was confused on what she had to do with me.
"My name is Amanda." She introduced, but I already knew who she was.

It was still shocking to hear her say it. This was Kyle's first love, who had faked her death for some reason. Kayden had to be that reason. It's ironic that even before I knew Kayden, he seemed to be the cause of all my problems. If Amanda wasn't scared of Kayden, then she wouldn't have faked her death and Kyle wouldn't have fallen in love with me.

                 "I'm Kelly." I replied.

"I already knew that. You're a very popular person around here. I'm assuming you already know who I am because of Kyle? I've done my research on you and Kyle." She said, standing up from the bed.

"Yeah I know who you are. So you know about the kidnappings?" I asked.

"Of course, and every little murder Kyle has done. I wouldn't come out of hiding and be clueless. I needed to keep up with what was going on." She paused before continuing.
