ATTENTION!!!! I have changed Anna's name to Amanda since I had used Anna in the first book as one of the girls kidnapped!!! Anyways, enjoy!!!!!

I stared at Dole, wondering if he would be bold enough to betray me. If he knew anything about Amanda and didn't tell me, I would probably kill him. Amanda would always be the love of my life. Sure, Kelly was my new love once Amanda had died but she had helped me through my darkest times and truly loved me, more than I can say about Kelly. We were both silent for several minutes until I thought it would be best to break the awkward silence.

"Is there anything you want to tell me before I start talking?" I asked as calm as I could.

He stared at his hands, not making eye contact with me. Either he's scared and doesn't know anything and doesn't want to piss me off, or he is hiding something and that's when things will get scary. He looks up into my eyes, his brown ones, emotionless and said, "I'm not sure what I'm supposed to say."

"Read this." I said throwing Dole the letter.

His eyes widened as I watched them scan the paper, moving back and forth, as he read it. I crossed my arms, not because I was mad at Dole, but because I wanted to intimidate him. Once he was done reading the letter, he handed it back to me and just stared. I knew he was thinking really hard about what he had read and that I was curious on what he had to say about this.

"Is this possible? Could she really be alive?" He asked.

"You are the only person who knew about her and me." I replied harshly.

"Are you implying that I sent this to you? I swear, I had nothing to do with this. I wouldn't even know what to say if I wrote that. She has to be alive then, right?" He asked.

I didn't respond. I stared at him with suspicion, seeing if he would break and tell me if he really did anything. As I glared at him longer, he didn't budge. Maybe he didn't know anything and was telling the truth. As of right now, I had to trust him since he was my closest friend and partner right now. I hated trusting people since I had been let down too much, but what else could I do?

"I need to see her to believe it. I watched that tape of the building blowing up that she was in; there was no way she could have escaped in time." I sighed.

"Well, did anyone else know about her?" He asked.

I shook my head. I didn't think anyone else knew about her, but I could never be one hundred percent sure. If Amanda was alive, it would change everything. I would have one of the most important people in my life back. I wondered how much she had changed since I last saw her.

"We'll figure this out, Kyle. I promise. We'll just have to wait for her to contact you again and take it from there. You need to focus on our plan. Tomorrow morning I'm heading to the Bahamas to team up with Kayden." Dole said, encouragingly.

"You're right, and once I have enough information, I will hurt Kayden where it hurts the most." I smiled, evilly.

"I'm going to head home, and get a good night sleep before tomorrow. I'll see ya in the morning." Dole said, standing up and heading for the front door.

I remained silent, not bothering to say bye to Dole. He would be sent to the Bahamas tomorrow and I would be alone, worrying about Amanda. My mind started to think of Kelly because I was still madly in love with her. Why did Kayden have to kill her? Kayden and I could still be best friends if he didn't do it. Why did he kill her? What was his goal by doing that? The thought of Kayden sickened me.

I drug myself back to the bedroom where I laid down on the bed. I started to remember what an ass I was to Kelly and how I should have treated her better before she died.

I was snapped out of my memories when there was a knock on my front door and I figured it was Dole, needing to talk to me or forgetting something inside. I opened the door to see no one outside. I looked around but saw no one. That was weird. Just as I was about to shut the door, I noticed that there was a piece of folded by paper taped to my door. What could that be? Slowly, I opened up the letter, and something was written in big bold letters. What I saw made my heart start to race and my blood turn cold. This couldn't be true, it just couldn't. It read, "Kelly is alive."

Hey everyone, I'm so sorry for such the long wait but I have two other stories I'm writing and I also have writer's block, so I'm sorry. I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I will try to update sooner that I did last time. What did you guys think about this chapter? And do you really think Kelly is alive, and if so, how? :) Also sorry for the cliff hanger haha.
