K dot came to visit his homeboy cause he know he was probably going through te struggle. "Wassup Nae." He said side hugging her. "Wassup K. He out back." She said closing the door behind him. "Aight. Bet. But aye. You lookin good. That pregnant look looks good on you." He joked. "Go on boy." She laughed going to check on Dustin's Daughter. She agreed to help out with Desiree. Dustin cant do it all by himself. Thats what a good friend does though.
Dustin was in the back shooting around until he heard K Dot trip off the porch. "Damn what the fuck. She got a damn death trap back here." He joked dapping his boy off. "Wassgood boy."
"Hey."
"How you feeling?"
"Cool. I guess. Gettin better each day..."
K dot looked at his friend. He knew deep down he was hurting. "Forreal man... talk to me. Im ya boy." He said.
Dustin sighed. "It hurts man. Its like... i cant get that image out my head. The last conversation is whats buggin me man. I cant... I cant fuckin SLEEP at night. I cant look at my own daughter. Its too painful bruh. I shouldve been there for her. I should still be with her. She should fuckin be here! And you know what hurts the most... All she wanted was for me to love her as much as she loved me." Before he knew it he was crying. He broke down cause all his emotions was bottled up until now.
"You good bro. Let it out."
" Thats all I had to do... love her. And now look. My selfishness killed her. I fuckin killed her. What im suppose to tell Desiree when she gets older huh?" He sniffed.
They stayed out there in silence until Dustin got himself together. They started hoopin and clowin each other.
"Yall stop makin all this noise! Desiree tryna get her beauty sleep." Nae said watching them.
K dot was saying something but Dustin zoned out. He never really realized how beautiful she was. Then she had that pregnant glow to her. She had recently took out her 32 inch weave and now wore her natural long hair. She didnt have make up on but she was still beautiful.
"Aye nigga! I said im finna go.." K dot said snapping Dustin out of his thought. Nae laughed then led Kdot out.
Once Nae closed the door she was trapped in the corner by Dustin who was over towering her. She looked up at him. "Dus... What are you doin? move boy!" She laughed pushing him back. He didnt move though. She looked him in his eyes and soon fell in his trap. Their lips got closer and closer until...
Desiree cried from upstairs causing them to jump. "Oh shit...." She mumbled. "I uh... Ima go check on her..." He said before jogging off up the stairs. Nae sat there. She sighed and went on bout her business.
