•Dean's Point of View•

As I woke up, I noticed Jessie wasn't on her mattress. I looked around the bunker for her and couldn't find her anywhere. I didn't even see Sam or Cas. That's weird. My car is still outside so where could they have gone?

"Dean?" A voice said behind me. I turned around and there was everyone. "Where were you guys?" I asked. "Kitchen," Sam answered. That makes no sense. I was just in the kitchen and none of them were there. Well, I guess they're here now so that's what matters. "Any cases today?" I asked them. No one answered so I took that as a no. They are acting so strange. I sat down in a chair and read some articles online to find any hunts. As I read, I felt arms wrap around my shoulders from behind. I looked back and saw Jessie. I smiled at her, then kept reading. Suddenly, I felt her kiss me. She moved in front of the laptop and kissed my lips. I kissed back. I mean, can't be rude, right?

She pulled away and had the biggest smile I've ever seen. She looked so happy. Sam came and hugged me, then Cas gave me a hug too. They all seemed so happy-go-lucky until something seemed to change. Suddenly everyone disappeared then Cas reappeared. "Dean, we don't have much time. You're in a coma and your mind has taken you to a dream. Find a way out. Keep fighting," he said. Then he was gone. Coma? I don't remember me getting hurt at all.

•Sam's Point of View•

Dean has been in a coma for a few hours. We had him hospitalized but the doctors say the only thing keeping him alive are the machines. They asked how he got into a coma. We told them we didn't know but that obviously wasn't true. We were on a hunt and this shapeshifter made us crash the impala into his truck. Dean got hit pretty hard and wouldn't wake up. Jessie had been at the bunker testing out the new microphones and cameras. Cas was dealing with "angel business", or at least that's what he said. When the crash happened, I had broken my arm but I managed to call Cas so he could help. He came and helped me bring Dean to the hospital. I called Jessie on the phone during that time and she was freaking out. She was so worried for both of us since she saw the whole crash on the cameras.

When we arrived at the hospital, Dean was immediately taken to a room. I was taken too so they could fix my arm and put a cast on it. Since then, I've been with Dean. Jessie is here too because I asked Kevin to come and for him to bring her too. Castiel and I planned to help Dean recover. We figured he wouldn't realize he was in a coma. The first step was to tell him that. Then we had to get him to fight to survive. He needs to be able to fight for his life. If he doesn't, then he'll die. Cas is going to heal Dean little by little but it will take time so help from Dean himself would make it faster.

•Dean's Point of View•

My surroundings changed and I suddenly found myself in purgatory. Sam appeared out of nowhere. I couldn't tell if he was real or not until he started talking. "I am you. I'm what you need to fight for," he said. Jessie and Castiel appeared next to him. "So are we," they said in unison. "How do I fight? How do I wake up?" I asked. "Escape the next three places that you've had memories in. This is the first one, purgatory," Cas explained. All of them disappeared and I knew what I had to do. I could fight my way through purgatory, then find the way out I took last time I was here. I can do this. It's for Sammy.

I found a random knife laying around so I grabbed it and ran. Everything seemed too quiet for purgatory but I was ready for any obstacle. Since this is a memory of it, I bet there will be some monsters. I looked around to make sure I was going the right way. As I thought, I saw vampires, two of them. They ran at me and I managed to kill them easily. Running again, I realized I was close to the exit. My speed increased and I made it through, just as I was about to be attacked again.

The next place was my old house. It was the night mom died. The house was on fire. My first instinct was to get Sam. I ran for his room and grabbed him quickly, not looking around too much. I don't need to see anything I've already seen from that day. The house was falling apart and the warmth of the fire made me feel like I was being cooked alive. I had to run faster to get out. Once I was out, my surroundings changed again.

•Castiel's Point of View•

Every hour I would heal a little bit more of Dean. He was making great progress. Within the next few hours, he could wake up again. "Does anyone want something to eat?" I asked. Obviously I won't eat but I'd like to go for a walk and get them something. "Can I have a burger and some pie?" Jessie asked. Those are Dean's favorites. Of course she would want to eat them to make her happy. She's really worried about Dean. Since she got here, Jessie has just been sitting in a chair next to Dean's bed and she just holds his hand. When she first saw him, she immediately started crying. Sam's reaction was a little different. He knew we had to find a way to help Dean instead of having time to be sad.

•Dean's Point of View•

The last obstacle was not recent. It was the night we saved Jessie. I appeared to be in front of her house this time, though. I looked inside and saw her arguing with Brandon. She yelled so loud that I could hear her clearly from outside. I watched as she grabbed a suitcase and walked towards the front door. I jumped behind a bush so she wouldn't see me. Jessie walked away from the house and I followed her quietly. She didn't seem to notice since I was trying to stay out of sight.

After about a half hour, she stopped and checked her phone. In the corner of my eye, I could see the vampire that had attacked her. He was quickly behind her and had one hand on her neck to hold her there. A knife appeared in my hand as Jessie managed to escape from the vamp. I swung my knife at him and he was dead. Suddenly everything went blurry and I was in a room. A lady with black hair was here. I recognized her as Tessa the reaper. "Tessa?" I said. She nodded. "You know you're in a coma, right?" She asked. "Yup," I answered. "You need to decide right now if you want to die or live. You have a chance at both. You're slowly healing but if you come with me now then I'll bring you to where you need to go," she explained. "I want to live."

Just as I said those words, everything went black. I felt something touching my hand so I opened my eyes and looked to the side. Jessie was holding my hand as she held a pie in her lap. "Yum, pie," I said. She jerked her head towards me and a big smile broke onto her face. She hugged me tightly and I could feel the tears from her crying. When she pulled away, Sam hugged me and then Cas did. "Is this real? Am I really awake?" I asked. They all nodded and Jessie offered me some pie. I obviously couldn't refuse that offer so she helped me eat. She practically fed me and took some herself.

As I ate, I remembered the dream I was in before I knew I was in a coma. Jessie has kissed me. Well, the fake Jessie had and I liked it. It felt so real and nice. Should I tell her or keep it to myself?
