Mark

Caitlin looks at the mark.

"So what is it exactly?" Caitlin asked.

"Last time it was what Arcturion used to get us to the Battlerealm." Ruby replied.

"You think he's up to his old tricks again?" Ian asked.

Ruby shook her head.

"I think Frost Assassin is behind this specific mark." Ruby said.

"You know him too?" Ian asked.

Ruby nodded.

"Just before we got trapped in the Battlerealm, he was on Earth 2 picking a fight with Killer Frost." Ruby said. "I thought he was just an illusion created by Arcturion wasn't he?"

"In order for Arcturion to create a physical form for Frost Assassin, he had to already be existing in some way." Caitlin said.

"Of course Charlie existed before, but what about Frost Assassin?" Ian asked.

"That's actually a good point." Ruby said. "Do you think he was experimented on by your dad?"

Caitlin shrugged.

"If he did it to both of us it was never at the same time." Caitlin replied. "But from what I can see he's becoming like our father."

"Even if we knew it was him..." Ian said. "We just got out of that place."

"At least we know how it works now." Ruby said. "And if it is the same place, we'll be ready."

Principal Powers came into the room.

"Ian, you have a call." Principal Powers said.

Ian follows Principal Powers to her office and answers the phone as she stepped out.

"Hello?" Ian asked.

"Never thought you'd hear from me again, did you?" A familiar voice said.

"Clyde?" Ian asked. "What do you want now?"

Where are you?" Clyde asked.

"You answer first." Ian said.

"Fine, it's Arcturion." Clyde said surprising Ian. "Something's up with him and he keeps mumbling something about this Alex guy."

"He's with you?" Ian asked.

"Yeah why?" Clyde asked.

"Sorry I gotta go." Ian said before hanging up and ran over to Ruby.

"You okay?" Ruby asked.

"Not exactly." Ian said. "The caller was Clyde."

"What did he do this time?" Ruby asked.

"Actually it was about Arcturion." Ian said.

"Wait he actually survived?" Ruby asked.

"Apparently." Ian replied. "He's been acting strange and keeps mentioning Alex."

"Makes sense, they have a connection." Ruby said. "But how long has he been with Clyde?"

"I don't know." Ian said shrugging. "At least now it makes sense."

"What makes sense?" Ruby asked concerned.

"Uh..." Ian said embarrassingly.

Flashback...

Alex's eyes gave a faint glow.

"I'm sorry." Alex said looking at Ian.

Ian looked at Alex confused.

Alex kisses Ian and then walks off.

Flashback ends...

"Must've been a moment Arcturion took control." Ian said.

"Guess he knew Clyde before then." Ruby added. "You do look alike."

Ian nodded.

"What happened to you after we broke up?" Ruby asked. "You're different now."

"It was difficult, nearly convinced myself I was over you and ready to move on with Byrn." Ian said. "But even while I dated her, I never stopped thinking about you."

"You think it was hard for you?" Ruby asked. "I went on my own and became a bounty hunter. I guess it wasn't all that bad since it led me to you again."

"I gotta be honest." Ian said. "I almost wasn't sure if you meant that kiss in the Battlerealm."

"Yeah my timing definitely could've been better." Ruby said laughing. "I just wanted to let you know in case we didn't get a chance later."

Ian smiles.

The two kissed.
