Other Ending

A breach opened in a damaged apartment.

Ruby and Ian stepped out.

"Woah." Ruby said. "What happened here?"

"Clyde?" Ian asked. "Come on man quit messing around."

Ruby entered a room and stopped.

"Oh my god." Ruby said. "Ian get over here."

Ian rushed over and saw Clyde on the floor with a crystal in his chest.

"It's purple, not pink." Ian said. "Definitely not Arcturion. This is someone new."

"Someone who hated him more than we did apparently." Ruby said. "That's a funny shape for a crystal."

Ian looked at the shape and got wide eyed.

"Show me your mark." Ian said.

Ruby stood for a moment then uncovered her wrist.

"Look." Ian said pointing to the crystal.

"They're exactly the same." Ruby said. "So Caitlin's brother isn't behind the mark either."

"And whoever is took Arcturion." Ian added. "So if he's not here..."

"Where is he?" Ruby finished. "And why would they take him?"

A group of scientists were rushing around a large lab.

A scientist gets a call and answers.

"I hear you have found a worthy champion." A voice said.

"Yes master." The scientist said. "But I'm afraid there's a problem."

"You'll have a bigger one if you don't get me out of this prison." A second demonic voice said.

"It's just that in order to complete the process we have to have the champion as a single person." The scientist informed. "But it seems that the champion has somehow formed himself into two separate identities."

"I don't care what you do." The demon voice said. "I've waited too long to get back at the Legends."

"I agree with the time demon." The other voice said.

"I understand master." The scientist assured them. "But it seems if they merge again there's a very little chance they'll survive."

"I've waited years to get my revenge." The voice said. "April 26, 2019 will not be my final battle."

The call hangs up.

The scientist looks over to a group of scientist.

"Get the systems ready." The scientist said.

In one of the test labs, Arcturion and Alex lay strapped to tables unconscious.

The scientist looks at them through a window and pulls a small purple crystal fragment out of their pocket.

"Time to get the new champion ready." The scientist said watching others come in to test the subjects.

The scientist looks at a screen and sees Ruby and Ian at the apartment.

"Can't let them be a problem." The scientist said looking at the crystal fragment as it glowed.

Ruby notices the crystal begin to glow brightly.

"Uh...Ian?" Ruby said.

Ian looks at the crystal.

"Oh god." Ian said wide eyed. "Run."

The crystal shot an energy around the apartment and transported them into the labs cell.

"Ruby are you okay?" Ian asked Ruby from across the hall.

"Yeah I'm fine." Ruby said looking around. "Where are we?"

Ian looks up and sees the mark in a large size on a wall.

"This is really bad." Ian said.
