*Delilah's P.O.V.*

Ben had helped me carry those last few boxes to the back room before I had to close up shop for the night. God knows how much I had missed him. It was good to have him back. I had grabbed my keys and my phone. Letting Ben know that it was time for both of us to leave. When we were both out, I locked the door behind us. I headed to my car and stopped half way there.

"What's wrong?" Ben asked

"It's just that I forgot that my car ran out of gas this morning! I'm such a bloody idiot!"

"Hey, don't be so hard on yourself. I'll give you a lift back home if that's what you'd like." He reassured me

I reached up and put a hand on his shoulder.

"It's really not that big of a deal. I can just walk home." I said

"I'm not letting you walk home in this cold weather, besides it would be nice to catch up on things." He smiled

"We could go to the Diner down the street. How does that sound?" He said

"Sounds great!"

"Alright now get it the car."

A couple minutes later, we had arrived.

I went to open the door, but Ben had beat me to it.

"I have hands you know?" I sassed

"I was just trying to be nice. That's all." He said putting his hands up in defense backing away from the car

"Calm down Benjamin, I was only joking!"

We sat down at a booth across from each other. The waitress came by to take our order.

"I'll just have a vanilla shake." I said

"And for you sir?" The waitress asked

"I'll have a chocolate shake." Ben told her

The waitress walked away leaving both of us alone. I didn't know how to start the conversation. Until I thought of something.

"So what movie did you get the role for that was so important for me to help you play drums with?" I asked

"This is a big secret, you can't tell anybody ok?" He said in a low whisper

"I promise."

"Pinky promise?" He said sticking his pinky out

I rolled my eyes.

"Ben you're being very dramatic. But yes I pinky promise." I said linking my pinky with his

The waitress came back with our milkshakes and walked away without saying anything.

"Now, it's called Bohemian Rhapsody. It's a biopic about Freddie Mercury and the band Queen." He told me

"Ben, I hope you're joking." I said

"I swear I'm not. I'm going to be the next Roger Taylor!" He said excitedly

I was in shock over the fact that my best friend had gotten such a big role, and that I was here to help him with it.

"That's fantastic! Congrats!" I exclaimed

"Yeah it's pretty great."

"Anyways, enough about me, how've you been Lila?"

I missed him calling me that.

"There's nothing exciting about my life. I live by myself. Audrey comes over occasionally to spend time with me. I have my own business where I teach people how to play instruments. That's pretty much it." I said
