Part 16

Two weeks later
Jesse pov
The roles have reversed and the past week Delilah has been so busy with modelling and press etc.
We haven't had any time together for about 3-4 weeks.
"Can we do something together today?" I say turning around to discover she's in a jacket and holding a bag.
"I'm so sorry Jesse today I've got a big shoot" she says pouting.
"Okay" I say sadly.
"If I could I would honestly you know that but I just can't" she says walking towards the front door.
"Bye then" I shout a little pissed off.
I hear the front door close.
Now I know why she was a bit pissy when I was so busy.
This sucks. Not only am I frustrated that I can't see her I'm also sexually frustrated.
Yeah laugh. But we haven't in over a week and I'm not happy.
We haven't even kissed.
This is shit.
Her really busy schedule she's appearing on daytime tv, nighttime tv, she's away doing shoots all over the country, she's doing interviews here there and everywhere.
She's in such high demand recently.
I'm proud of her for reaching her dreams but I want at least to get time to kiss her or watch a movie with her, is that too much to ask?
Apparently it is!
I wouldn't of minded her been busy any other week but I was busy for weeks and she didn't have anything on and now it's switched. I wish we had a week in between each other's busy schedules to break up the business.
It's been 4 weeks of barely seeing each other. Practically a whole month. I don't want it to be straining our relationship but I think it is.
We're both short tempered, tired and frustrated.
I just want her. I want her time.
I'm not selfish. I'm actually a good boyfriend wanting lots of time with her despite us being together for over 6 months now.
Normally in the first month or so relationships are fun and new and at 6 months it's lost it's spark. Our relationship hasn't. It's still like a new relationship, fun and easy. And I'm not prepared to let our work ruin that for us.

She walk in the house and drops her bag on the floor.
It's currently 10pm.
"I'm shattered I'm going to bed" she says going upstairs.
Before I can reply she's gone.
I decide not long after to follow suit and I make my way upstairs also.

I lay in bed looking at the ceiling.
Lils fast asleep next to me.
Her perfectly proportioned face resting on the pillow.
I smile at her beautiful face. She even looks gorgeous sleeping. How does she do it?
I come to the conclusion that tomorrow we will go on a date. I know she's finally free tomorrow night so first thing in the morning I'll book a table at our special restaurant we used to go to all the time when we first started being friends.
Oh how our lives have changed since then.
