It is finally the sphere of the Prima Mobile, the last sphere. She thought to herself and repeated these words to herself for the next few hours. Just a few more, and she's at the gates of heaven, the Empyrean. Her mother describes it as bright, supported by clouds, with a big golden gate that only opens when the gate guards tell it to. The sound of trumpets rise in the silent air, and the light shines through the window.

We're here.

The door opens, she steps out. The feet sink into the clouds, as if stepping on a pillow. She walks towards the gate.

“Serena Angeles, you're the offspring of Eve Angeles, right?”

“Yes, I am” The trumpets form a harmonic melody, different from when she arrived. This time, it's louder and more upbeat. The gates opened outward, as if giving someone a hug for reaching this far.

She stepped in. The sight was better than she imagined. There were rivers of honey and gold, dripping down a castle that seemed like it would stretch forever upward, it was made of gold and silver that luminesce a bright light that shone in every direction, all across heaven.

A shadow tapered above her, she looked up and saw a pair of wings gliding above her. More and more angels soared in her sight as she looked back down. An angel landed right in front of her.

“Name's Jake, you seem to be new here”  An angel with broad wings appeared. “Hi, I'm Carrie, you're the daughter of Eve, am I right?” She seemed to be a higher rank angel, a teacher. “Yes, Yes I am” She answered with a shy voice. She nodded back at me, and looked at the other angel. “Jake, it's almost class time, hurry or you'll be late.”

The angel nods and flies towards the castle. He looks back at her. She looks away.

“Come, for there are many things I'll have to show you before you go to class my dear. First, let's get you your wings.”

We walk into the castle doors. They were big, giant, yet it looks like a mini version of the gates that guarded the entrance to this place. Angels sit on the pillars, some conversing deep secrets and others reading books. Their wings tucked into their back and their legs folded.

The paintings that decorated the walls were made by famous painters, some where by picasso and others were made by artists from around the world. After they died, the paintings were brought to heaven to be placed on the walls of this castle.

The stairways were made of pure silver, they were slippery but she got in the hang of it. She lead me to a doorway, at the hend of the hall. It was carved bronze and gold. She opened the doors revealing wings of many kinds. Some were the wings of legends and others were wings that belonged to civilian angels.

“Let's pick. You can choose whichever wings you'd like, oh but don't look in the closet over there.” She pointed to a gloomy closet. It seemed like the dark surrounded it. It was out of place in the bright golden room. Purplish veins seeped out of it. It gave her the creeps.

She had a hard time picking what wings she'd like. She wanted wings that were not the biggest, but not small enough to not carry her weight. “How about this one?”

It had golden streaks in it. The size was medium and it was silvery white. The feathers were light weight, so it wouldn't be much of a burden. “I want this one, please” The  woman smiled and clapped three times.

The wind rushed in the air and made the other wings sway. The pair suddenly spread out and flew across the room. It bumped against the walls a few times until settling down in front of her.

The woman laughed. “It's feisty, but it will fit you” The woman fixed it on my back. A tingle shimmied down my spine. Her nerves and muscles felt connected to it, and after a while, she could make it move. She was born an archangel but she never really had wings since she was born of human seed.

“This is definetely new” She tried her wings. Slowly, but steady. She lifted herself up into the air. She flapped, creating wind cycles across the room. “Have fun, now let's head to the principal's office, she'd like to give you a few words.”

We went out of the room, and towards the principal's office.
