I'm Matilda Reeves, not exactly a normal needle of the haystack, considering I attend Concore's Academy, a training facility located on the grounds of Whicoulder. I am Leader of my form, training to be the best among many others of my year, readying ourselves for battle in the field to protect the humans from Vascouls - deathly creatures that live off life essences - and having two mysterious sets of eyes watching my every move doesn't tickle my fancy. Aziraphale would forgive him, of course. He always did. That had always been the Hell of it. It had been stupid to think things would be any different this time. It was a game they had been playing a long, long time, and he was all kinds of fool and idiot if he was going to suddenly start taking it seriously, even if only a few days ago he had thought Aziraphale was dead. Our side. It would be nice, really nice, if there was an *our side.* To be honest with himself, there was nothing in all the universe he wanted more. "I'll pick you up at eight," he repeated to the closed door, and headed back to the flat to take it out on the plants.

In the aftermath of the thwarted Apocalypse in this alternate universe, Crowley has lost his memory and taken on a humble life as a greenhouse keeper in Upper SoHo. Meanwhile, Aziraphale, believing Crowley perished during the tumultuous events, has adopted a young girl he named Nebula in his healing process. Their paths unexpectedly cross when Aziraphale seeks horticultural knowledge for Nebula, leading to a heart-wrenching reunion with a forgotten past.
