a week later...

Matt and Christina had another one of their regular fights in the morning, they were arguing about Adam. Matt thought that her and adam kissed during the voice because of all the sexual tension in the room, but they didn't. matt pushed christina into the door and left a bruise on her wrists from grabbing her too hard. She had been crying the entire day. all the memories kept coming back to her every time she saw Matt walk across the hallway or everytime she heard him talking on the phone. she just wanted things to be okay, matt was once her soldier, he was her rock. but now that's completely changed, he hurts her in every way possible and she hated to face that horrible fact

she got off the couch in her room and pulled her sweatshirt down to cover her bruised back, you'd think the bruises would be faded by now but no. matt hit her way to hard, they'd last at least a few more weeks. she wiped her tears away and made her way downstairs to the living room with her phone in hand

"mommy!" max called sweetly from the kitchen

a smile appearred on her face as she walked to the kitchen and found him with pudding all over his face

"mommy can i go to the park with adellaine?" he asked as she wiped away the pudding with a soft cloth

"alright, bring a sweater baby" she said in a weak voice as she placed a gentle kiss on his forehead. she didn't mean for it to come out that way but it did

max noticed the way she talked with such sadness but he didn't say anything about it. he just flashed her a small smile and hugged her for a couple of seconds "thank you mommy" he stood up and ran up the stairs quickly to get his jacket. he came back downstairs and the nanny took him to the park

christina sighed quietly and sat down in the chair at the kitchen counter, she moved her hands to her face and touched the red mark on her cheek that was covered with makeup from when matt slapped her.

matt was upstairs sleeping in a guest room

her eyes started to water as she put her head down, tears were flowing from her eyes at this point. she just wanted matt to stop this, stop this abuse he puts her through almost every single day. and what hurt her the most wasn't the fact that he hit her, it was the fact that he promised to never hurt her, he promised to always love her, he promised that he wouldn't be that guy but he lied. he lied when he said he loved her, at least that's what she thought. she doesn't think that matt loves her even one bit but he really does, his anger takes control over him and he just explodes. wow.. what a boyfriend

she let her tears fall hard onto the counter for a full 20 minutes, it seemed like she would never stop crying but the sound of matt's footsteps made her sit up straight and wipe her tears away. that was useless as more salt water dripped from her eyes that were filled with sadness

"goodmorning" matt said in a raspy voice as he opened the fridge and took out a beer

"it's 3pm matt" she wiped her remaining tears away and sighed really quietly

he checked the clock and yawned as he sat on the chair across from her, there was a deep silence for a couple of seconds but matt broke it "how was your day?" he asked as he took a sip of beer

her day was horrible and he should already know that since he hit her this morning. everyday has been horrible ever since he first put his hands on her a couple months ago. she kept her eyes away from him as she answered in a quiet tone "it was okay" her voice cracked a little but she didn't even notice, she seemed so used to everything

he nodded his head once and took another gulp of his beer "where's max?" he asked

"he went to the park with Adellaine" she answered in a soft, sweet tone trying not to show any sadness
