But I believe in whatever you do,
And I'll do anything to see it through,
Because these things will change, can you feel it now?
These walls that they put up to hold us back will fall down,
It's a revolution, the time will come for us to finally win.
You can walk away and say you don't need this,
But there's something in your eyes that says we can beat this

Chapter 7 : Change Is On The Way
Cathy's POV
I woke up before my alarm went off with a jolt. The events that had occurred that night came flooding back to me. I suddenly remembered what had happened with Dad and wondered if he was still home or not. I groaned- why the hell did things suddenly have to become so bad all of a sudden? Things were going great before, sure I didn't exactly have parents to tuck me into bed each night and a mum to cook me dinner and what not but I had friends. But I still had two best friends and a everything made sense.
Now I was stuck with a ex best friend and a dad who was pretending he actually gave a shit about me and... I stopped. Unsure at how to even begin to describe Sebastian, he was.. no one. I told myself sternly as I brushed my teeth. What did it matter to me what he did and who he kissed. It was his life anyway. It was his choice what perfect girl he chose to bring home and introduce to Juliet who would immediately treat her like the big sister she's always wanted. What did it matter to me anyway?
I had quick shower and dressed for school before chucking in the books I would need for today's lessons. I trekked down the stairs once I had my iPod, Blackberry and keys safely stuck in my blazer pocket and my bag slung over a shoulder. I listened out for a second and was met with the sound of metal hitting the marble floor of the kitchen and a "Shit!" before someone started scurrying around.
Damn it. I was hoping he would have been either have been asleep or better yet on a plane to some other country for another one of his business meetings.
Dropping my bag near the front door I made my way to the kitchen to find Dad dressed casually in a pair of faded denim jeans and a white shirt. His hair was dark, messy and damp and he was stood balancing on a chair trying to reach for something in a cupboard.
"What are you doing?" I asked him.
"Oh.. well uh. We didn't exactly get off to a great start see so.. I figured I could make you something." He said avoiding eye contact.
"Alex is coming over in a minute, I don't need you to make me breakfast." I told him stonily taking out the bread from it's packet.
"Alex?" His brow furrowed. "Right well, I could make something for both of you."
"No need. We can do toast. I don't have time for anything big." He looked as though he was about to say something but the door bell rang.
Giving him a pointed look I went to answer the door.
"Hey Cath." Alex said with a grin as he walked in.
"Hey- uh, Dads here." I said looking towards the kitchen knowing he would understand.
"Oh." He said standing nervously in the passage trying to make his fly away hair lie still.
I rolled my eyes, "Yeah, exactly. Come one- lets grab some toast and scram."
"Uh.. I think I'll just stand here and-" he stopped realising that I was not about to take no for an answer.
"Or I could just go with you?" He finished with a grimace.
