"Where are we going?" I ask messing with the bracelet thing on my wrist as we walked.

"Just to my book section. I must check something." Replied Jerry.

We quickly arrived at the books. There were isles and isles of them and the shelves were completely full. All different shapes and sizes and colors of books jutted out from the shelves. Some even spilled out onto the floor reveling they were in strange languages.

Jerry ran his finger along the shelves looking for something in particular. He pulled out several different books, flipping through the pages until he found what he was looking for.

"This is what I needed. It will confirm or disprove my suspicions."

"Well lets hear it. What are you suspicious of?" I ask.

"A couple hundred yeas ago I got that ball in a trade with a few other things. The man claimed it was made by Satan himself, and was supposed to have immense power. I remembered reading something about a legendary weapon forged in hell in the form of a black orb, so I made the deal. but up until now no reaper had ever triggered anything with the orb. But now it seems something was triggered inside of you, you walked straight there. Why?" Asks Jerry.

"I don't know. I just felt like something was calling out to me so I went to it." I respond.

"Well, this book says that the weapon is alive, and it strengthens as you do. It has many forms, it can be almost any offensive or defensive weapon or tool you'll ever need. Of course this is all just legend and rumor. It might have been a fancy spell that turned that ball into a bracelet. Only time will tell." Jerry explains.

"Well how do I use it?" I ask.

"The man I got it from said you have to establish a spiritual connection through meditation after it had chosen you. Then everything should feel natural. You can use one of my empty Storage rooms to meditate if you'd like. Jerry stated.

"I might as well." I reply.

Jerry leads me to another room in the back of his shop, It had a very plain tan color scheme and a stone floor, there wasn't much inside except for a few boxes and some rusted weapons.

"I'll dim the lights and leave you alone. When everything is settled come see me and we will get you the rest of your gear." Jerry said as he closed the door behind me, leaving me alone in the room.

Not knowing exactly what to do I sat down in the middle of the room, cross my legs and close my eyes. Instantly I heard a voice.

"My name Scythe. I was the first reaper weapon to ever be created. I've been imbued with droplet of blood from Satan himself, blessing me with a small piece of his power. Unfortunatly I can not use this power on my own. I can't even maintain a Physical form other than this bracelet or a black crystal ball without being bonded with a reaper. I would like you to be my next reaper. Open your eyes."

I do as I'm told. A man of shadows stood before me squatting down so he could see my face.

"May I be your weapon, Reaper?" Scythe asked.

I reply. "Yes."

And with a smile Scythe was gone. I get up from the ground and walk to the door. Giving the room one last look before I leave.

"Hey Jerry. Everything is Settled." I quietly shout out.

Jerry soon shows up and starts asking questions and rambling about how happy he was that I came into his shop. But eventually he brought up the matter of my last piece of equipment.

"Well the last thing you need is fairly simple. Its a charm to keep humans from seeing you while you are on a mission. what would you like it to be? A ring? A necklace? Another bracelet?" Jerry asked.

"Do you have anything in-"

"Red and black?" Jerry asked cutting me off.

"Haha. Yeah." I said laughing.

"Yes I do." Jerry said with a smile.

I picked a ring with a black band and two thin red strips going around it.

"Alright the charm is already in place, that is all you need for now. Thank you again for coming into my shop... Um... I don't believe I caught your name, Since you're a new reaper you must have forgotten your name. Have you chosen a new one yet?" Asked Jerry.

"My new name will be..." I pause before answering.

"Just call me Red! Haha! I like that! I'm Red, the red reaper!" I yell through the shop excitedly.

"Haha, very well. It's nice to meet you Red." Said Jerry.

"You too, Jerry. So What do I owe you for all this?" I ask Jerry.

"Nothing. It's free for you. But just this once! Thank you so much for coming into my store. It means a lot. Now get outta here and go do reaper stuff." Jerry said with a smile.

I wave as I leave the store.

"Now what?" I say out loud.

"Now we get something to eat, I'm starving!" Said Dank suddenly appearing.

"Whoa! Hey you jerk! Why did you leave me back there?!" I yelled at Dank.

"Because that wasn't something I could guide you through. You had to find a shop and your gear on your own. Anyway lets get food, you're paying. We'll go to my favorite restaurant!" Explained Dank marching away from the shop.

"But Dank I'm not even-" I was cut off by my stomach growling.

"Fine lets go." I say as I walk after Dank.
