I remember thinking "This bed is so comfortable. So soft. So warm. Nothing could spoil this sleep..."
Then. My chest started to itch. It was barely a tickle at first, but after a little while it got a little itchier. A little more persistent. I kept rubbing and scratching at it hoping it would calm it down. Eventually I just decided to ignore it, thinking that If I left it alone it would go away. It didn't.
It was only a few minutes after that I noticed my arms felt itchy. Then my legs. Then my back. I just kept ignoring it and focused on the comfort of my bed, or at least I would if I could, little by little as the itch spread, my sheets became less and less comfortable by the second.
Eventually it had become so irritating I threw the blankets to the ground and huddled into a ball on my bed to keep from itching. But it was no use, it just kept getting stronger and stronger and stronger. What was once an itch was now a burn! My skin felt like it was on fire! I eventually jump from my bed and ran for the bathroom thinking a cold shower might help cool my skin.
I swung the door open and burst into the room. I turned the shower on full blast and set it as cold as it goes.I started taking off my pants. As I get ready I glance in the mirror and stare in wonder... The face starring back was not one I recognized, I had brown hair with streaks of red and black that was long enough so it reached my upper lip, green eyes, My body was muscular yet slim, the skin on my chest around my heart had turned black and had six throbbing black veins spreading to the rest of my body. Two down to my legs, two to my arms, and two going over my shoulders.
I turn around to see my back and there where two more black spots around my shoulder blades. Upon closer inspection I could see something had began jutting out from them... For I moment I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, because they looked like they'd moved. Then it happened again... Suddenly something ripped it's way through my skin and extended several feet from my back! I let out a horrific scream as I fell to my knees in pain!
I attempt to pick myself back up to peer into the mirror once again but only manage to fall backwards into the shower. Ice cold water pours onto my body, the shock from the sudden temperature makes me gasp but I am quickly calmed by the cool, refreshing water. The burning sensation calmed momentarily, allowing me to catch my breath and collect my thoughts.
"This must be the "process" Dank was talking about. What the fuck? This is insane. When will it end?
What's next?"
Then as if my question was heard the dark spot in my chest suddenly exploded with flames and lightning! The water was instantly evaporated from the immense heat radiating from my body! My screams echoed through my new home shaking the pictures on the walls and knocking together pots and pans!
As the lightning flames got hotter my yelling got louder! I grab onto the side of the tub for support crushing it with my grip sending pieces everywhere! The lighting starts to ark to random parts of my body each spot catching on fire and spreading!
I roll out of the tub and start crawling out of the bathroom back into my bedroom. My body has been completely consumed in red flames, I could feel parts of my skin turning to ash! My screams have gone quiet as I get lower and lower to the floor, each second getting weaker. I soon just collapse on the floor, unable to fight any longer. My mind now completely numbed from my sickeningly painful experience.
The flames slowly sink into my body, calmed at last. Bloody tears start to escape from my eyes as I pass out. Thankful it's finally over.
