Promise me, no promises

Prologue

"Meeting dismissed" I ended the meeting with the whole school council. It seems like transferees are increasing this school year and as their president I was obliged to do some things. Just like checking the forms of the transferees

"Wanna grab some lunch, Eclaire?" Siña asked me

"Maybe, next time. Thank you for asking!" Ngumiti lang siya saka siya lumabas

Bigla ulit bumukas ang pinto ng office. Akala ko bumalik si Siña pero pumasok ang kabatch kong lalaki sa office

"Uhm, Eclaire! Pinapabigay ni Ms. Suarez. Mga forms daw iyan ng transferees" The guy said habang kamot-kamot pa ang ulo niya

"Thank you.." I said saka siya namula. What's wrong with him? Naiinitan siguro.

Nagpaalam na siya sa akin at pinasalamatan ko siya ulit. I checked the forms. Wala naman kaso iyong iba, normal naman silang lahat. Pero may nakaagaw ng atensyon ko

"Valerian Hosea.." Wow, i like his name. Kaya lang parang gulo ang dala nito. He was kicked out thrice and all of his grades are glowing red.

In his 2x2 picture his face was really perfect. Pointed nose, thin red lips, and perfect carved jaws, with messy hair. That's how I describe him. I'm not into bad boys tho. Pero may note na nakaagaw ng pansin ko

"Magbabago na ako, promise! :))"

Aw, I will surely give him a chance

"Sorry Eclaire but I can't accept student that has a record like that. He was kicked out thrice!" Parang hindi sangayon ang principal namin dito

"Ma'am, he's the same year as I'am. I can watch over him. I can make him stay away from trouble" Pagdadahilan ko. I just wanna give this poor guy a chance.

"How do you know?" How do I know? Paano nga ba?

"I just know, maam.." I smiled

"Alright, I will give this boy a chance.." Napalawak ang ngiti ko.

I did this because he seems so familiar to me. Hindi ko lang maalala
