UNEDITED!!

"Hey, guys, wait up."

The group stopped in their tracks and turned their heads to see Griffin running towards them.

"About time, we were starting to think you weren't coming." Martin said, as the group continued walking to the entrance of the venue, Griffin finally able to keep up.

"My parents don't exactly like the idea of me going anywhere alone so they drove me here. Besides, it's not like I have anything else to do on a Saturday afternoon." Griffin explained.

"Really? No friends to hang out with?" Owen joked.

Griffin snorted, "No one wants to be friends with 'the guy who tried to kill himself for some more attention.' I don't think people understand that tipping off the edge of a bulding is too big of a risk for attention."

Corina laughed bitterly and said, "Please, after my 'incident', my parents would barely speak a word to me. They think I'm this dangerous animal now that can snap any moment."

"Aren't you a dangerous animal really?" Owen joked, nudging her shoulder.

"Oh piss off." Corina said, but chuckled along with everyone else. Except Beatrice, it didn't go unoticed that she barely expressed emotions most of the time. She would usually crack a simple, small smile or frown when something went wrong.

Once they were all seated in the 'support circle', as Trudy called it when they entered, they were asked to tell what their week was like.

"I got a new tattoo." Corina said first, shrugging as if it was nothing.

"Oh," Trudy said. "That's...nice. What's the tattoo design?"

"A group of dead butterflies." Corina said.

"Interesting, why did you pick that?" Trudy asked.

Corina mearly shrugged and nudged Owen who was next to for him to take his turn.

All the other answers of the teenagers remained vague and not very explanatory. They were mostly composed of 'at school's and 'chilling at home's. Trudy seemed disappointed with rhe answers but didn't push it, knowing that she was never going to get a decent answer.

"Okay, so now that we've had that blast to the past, let's focus on the present." Trudy said loudly, but no one else showed a drop of enthusiasm.

"Today, we're gonna do something a little more interesting." Trudy started. "I'm gonna say a random topic then we're gonna say the first thing that comes to mind out loud. Got it? We'll start from my left then go in a circle. Okay, first word: puppies."

"Nuisance." Corina said.

"Annoying." Martin said.

The negative comments continued with words such as 'loud', 'smelly'. Not even Dakota slipped in a positive thought because she was in a gloomy mood today.

Trudy continued to list down topics and things, all ending in insulting words, much to Trudy's distaste.

"Okay, see? We just got to know each other better. We learned our...different opinions on things, bringing us closer as a group." Trudy started clapping, thinking maybe it will get the teens to clap too. That didn't happen. Trudy's clapping slowly came to a stop before she cleared her throat and fidgeted a little in her seat.

The troubled teens looked at each other, sending messages with their eyes.

This is hopeless.

A/N Writing support group scenes are hard! This is disgustingly short, they won't always be this short. Exposition writing sucks!
