Aang and I tried to get Appa off the ground in the middle of the night to no avail. Aang keeps pestering Appa as he goes to sit down, suddenly Sokka speaks up and most of the village, as well as Katara, stand behind us with worried looks.

As they protest how dangerous it is, I climb onto Appa's back while ignoring Katara's yells at me. Aang follows my lead and jumps onto Appa's head before we can take off, Sokka and Katara jump in the way.

"We're not letting you go into the Fire Nation, Aang, Sen," Katara states.

"At least, not without your friends. We got your back," Sokka grins.

"Charming," I muse as Momo licks Sokka.

As the leader gives Aang a bag, Aang's thanks are cut off by the leader yelling at us to leave. To which we did.

As the day cracks on in the Fire Nation waters, Aang, Sokka and Katara watch below in fear.

"I said you have nothing to fear didn't I?" I quietly remark.

After a few minutes, Katara panics and points out Zuko's ship. As Zuko starts launching horrid smelling attacks at us, Aang Airbends them away as Appa dodges as best he can. Before much more happens a blockage comes into view. We quickly decide to rush it as does Zuko apparently.

As we flee, more Fireballs are launched at us and Sokka falls from the saddle and Aang makes Appa dive to save him, I pull him back on. Appa skims the water are Fireballs crash around us. I turn around and glare. Zhao was after us too now.

Aang uses an Airbending move as I Waterbend the ships to sway as we pass the blockade. I poke my tongue out at Zhao as we pass him.

"We made it!" Aang yells with a grin.

"We got into the Fire Nation. Great," Sokka grimaces with Katara.

"It is great, if Zhao turns up even better," I crack my knuckles as the others sweatdrop.

Everyone looks to be exhausted as we finally reach the island. As the others chat idly, I wait for them before we approach. From what Roku told me of Firebenders and the Nation, this was protected by the Fire Sages. As we round a corner we see some Fire Sages.

"We are the Fire Sages. Guardians of the temple of the Avatar," One states.

"Great, I am the Avatar," Aang grins.

"We know," the Sage looks down before shooting a Fireball.

"Enough," I snap as I knock the ball to the side easily.

"You have me to worry about," I growl as I yell for the others to go.

Katara and Sokka run with horror-stricken expressions as Aang decided to stay with me. After a moment, Aang Airbends them and pulls me with him as we run. We get lost before crossing Sokka and Katara before running again. As we all run together a Sage chases us until we hit a dead end. Everyone goes on the offensive.

"I don't want to fight you! I am a friend," the Sage explained.

"Firebenders aren't our friends," Sokka snapped.

"They can be," I walk forward and bow to the Sage.

The others gasp at my actions as Aang walks forwards.

"You wish to speak with Avatar Roku, I can take you to him. Your friend as well," the Sage tells Aang.

The Sages shows us a passage to which I'm first to hurry down. The others follow as more Sage's come looking for us.
