after being seated at a small, circular marble table outside, we read the menus and decide what to get.
"i think im going to get an iced vanilla latte. hopefully they can add in two shots of espresso." what can i say, i like a darker coffee than what places serve.
"i think im going to get avocado toast and be a basic bitch," amber replies, smiling, "what about you josh?"
"i dont know yet. maybe the eggs."
the waitress soon comes to the table and asks us what we would like to drink.
"i'll have the iced vanilla latte, and can i get that with two shots of espresso?" she nods her head and writes down the order. "thank you."
amber orders an iced mocha, and josh orders orange juice. amber and i giggled at him when he ordered, as orange juice is more popular as a kid's drink.
we all order our breakfast and finish eating relatively quickly, then take a few instagram pictures.

josh wants to pay to be chivalrous, but amber wants to pay since i've already helped her so much. i want to pay because i think its polite, but im slowly losing money over all of the college textbooks.
josh and amber decide to just split the check, so they can both pay for my food. im not exactly complaining about that.
after paying, amber and i see a cute place to take pictures, and the lighting is amazing. i quickly grab my phone, and we all go down the street to where the place is.
the infamous pink wall. there's people taking pictures there already, so we just casually wait until there's some more room to take pictures.
i check my phone for the time and my eyes go wide to what i saw.

i quickly show josh and amber what happened and debate whether or not i should open the dm. he's a famous youtube star now who's moved to LA. i doubt that he hasn't changed.
i open my phone using my thumbprint. i tap the instagram app, but my finger hovers over the dm button.
i decide to click on it, then onto the one he sent me. yolo.

i choose to leave it plain and simple. i take a deep breath, and then it's time to take more pictures.
amber and i take a few separately, then some together. josh didnt want any, so he just stayed as the photographer.
after finishing our picture taking, we walk back to the car. on our way, i notice two boys, and a third with a camera.
it was unmistakeable. those hazel eyes, that charming smile. i touch his shoulder to get his attention, not thinking about it.
"ethan?"
