Work was as stressful as always , and by the time I get back home I am so exhausted , my back feels like I have been carrying a thousand bricks and my feet feel like there is an inferno lit up down there. Okay , maybe I am exaggerating a tad bit.
I took off the death traps called heels from my feet . I walked to the bathroom and took a warm shower that loosened all the tension from my muscels . I wore a loose shirt and shorts , walked to my kitchen and lazily heated up some frozen pizza . While I was waiting for my pizza I heard my cellphone ring in my living room. The caller ID that flashed on my screen caused a stupid grin to spread across my face."Hello Eric"
"Hey" he answered back sorta breathless
"You okay? You sound a little . . . out of breath" I asked trying to sound more concerned than curious. But couldn't help my mind from wondering to the gutter where there are mulyiple images of Eric out of breath doing . . . Certain activities most of them being on top -
"Oh , I am just from the gym" Thankfully he interrupted that train wreck of thoughts that was heading straight to the biggest garbage site in New York but didn't stop all the other dirty minded thoughts of Eric's shirtless toned body glistening with sweat running from his rock hard chest to his washboard abs all the way to his defined V-line that leads to-
"Hello? Liv , are you there?"His voice cut my train of thoughts that were leading to a very indecent place
"Yeah , yeah I can hear you?"
"So how was work ?"
"It was good. I feel like I have been run over by a train about a hundred times but other than that I am okay"
His husky chuckle resonated through the phone fueling all those thoughts I had of him
"Well , seems like your day was fun"The sarcasm oozing in his voice caused me to smile and play along
"The best day ever, so how was your day?"
"Tiring as always but hey work is work"
"Taking pictures all day is not hardwork buddy" There was a couple seconds of silence that were longer than needed to think of a comeback
"Oh really , I beg to differ"
"What is the hard part of lifting a camera and snapping a few shots?"
After hearing my microwave dibg signalling that my deliscious pizza is ready I took it out and walked to my open living room and sat down on my couch while still on the phone with Eric
"It's not just about snapping a couple shots"
"Then what is it about then that makes photography so hard?"
"It's the lighting , the angles and most of all the chemistry between the photographer and the one being photographed"
"I am still not buying it , I say that it's easy "
"Then why don't you give it a shot then?"
"Well I don't have a camera"
"That's not a problem princess , so don't make excuses"
I couldn't help the fuzzy feeling I felt when he called me princess shaking those wonderfull but uneccessary thoughts off , I retorted back
"I am not making excuses buddy . So just tell me the time and place and I will be there "
"Okay I will , then you will understand it is not as easy as you think it is"
"We'll just have see about that "
Our conversation lasted a lot longer thanI thought before an unintentional yawn escaped from my mouth , which am pretty sure was heard by Eric over the phone if the chuckle he let out was any consolation
"Well I can see I have bored you to sleep "
He said with a teasing tone and couldn't help but tease back
"I can see you have"
"Goodnight Liv"
"Goodnight Eric"
I walked into a cozy resturant that wasn't as packed as I expected , for lunch after a stressful morning at work ,
Thank God it's Friday!
I took a seat near a windows and a waitress walked up to me"Good afternoon ma'am can I take your order?"
"I will have wings and a side of fries , with a strawberry smoothie"
"Your order will be ready in ten minutes"
"Thanks"A couple minutes after she left I heard a ping sound from my phone. I looked at it to find a text from Eric
Good afternoon beautiful. I still haven't forgotten our agreement
Good afternoon to you too . I still haven't forgotten as well just send me the time and place and be prepared to be proved wrong
Is 2pm at La Bella resturant okay?
It is and I will see you there
After a short while of waiting , the waitress finally brought my order and dear I say those wings were just . . . everything I needed right now
After I was done with my meal I paid for it and tipped the waitress and left for another half a day of gruesome work.
I got home completely exhausted but I couldn't stop thinking about tomorrow it's probably nothing but just spending time with him was something I looked forward to.
After finishing my dinner and night routine I snuggled up in my comfortable bed and just dosed off to a peaceful sleep
