29 - Surely, There Must be a Haunted House Around the Festival

Aika was just about to reapply (Name)'s makeup when the latter's phone rang. The two looked at each other before (Name) stood up to grab it.

The screen showed a name that made (Name)'s heart start to race.

Yamazaki Sousuke.

"What are you waiting for, girl?" Aika bumped against her shoulder while grinning, "open it!"

(Name) rolled her eyes and opened the message.

I'm at the booth near the main entrance. Do you want to go around the festival together?

"Did he just-"

"Yes! Oh my goodness yes!" Aika ripped the phone out of her hands before she could protest.

"Aika! Don't send anything weird!" (Name) hissed as she reached out to grab her phone, which was easily dodged by Aika.

She smirked, "don't worry. I only said you'll be there soon."

"You what?!"

"Come come take your wig off! I'll clear your make up."

"But the concert-"

"We still have three hours!" Aika dabbed a cotton doused in make up remover to her face, "I can do your make up quickly enough and the boys can start setting things."

"Aika!"

"I know what you feel about him, (Name)," the tone of Aika's voice changed. She is in serious mode now, "this is your chance! You can get closer to him."

"I can't just leave you guys here!" (Name) protested.

"Yes you can!" Hideki perked up from the background, "Three of us can finish everything quickly so you don't have to worry."

(Name) groaned as Aika gave her the look that seemed to say I told you. "Just go and have fun, (Name). This is the first time I see you crushing on someone after... Well.. After that break up incident with him. We want you to be happy again."

Aika took (Name)'s wig off gently, the latter was standing still staring at her friend.

"Are you sure?"

"Totally. Out you go now, tell me what happens later! I want stories!"

"O-okay." (Name) hesitantly stepped towards the door, her change of clothes in hand. She would have to change first so she doesn't cause any suspicions. "I-I owe you guys..."

"Make it up by singing so well we embed ourself in everyone's memories tonight." Everyone's heads turned to the usually silent Clyde, who was smiling.

"Okay you better hurry now," Aika shoved her out the door, "enjoy the brief date!"

"Sousuke!"

The sound of his name being called made Sousuke look around. He spotted a head of (hair colour) hair moving through the crowd towards him.

"(Name)," he smiled at her fondly watching her come to a stop in front of him.

"I'm sorry! I had so many things to do today."

"Its alright. You're here now." Sousuke ruffled her hair and started walking forwards, "I heard you will be backstage for the concert?"

"Y-yeah.." (Name) fidgeted nervously, "I have about two hours or so. We can go around together till then."

"I don't mind, at least I'll spend some time with you." Sousuke rubbed the back of his neck.

(Name) looked down and felt her face flush. He is really forward today. "Uh.. W-what do you want to do?"
