Chapter 12

Your POV:

I awoke to the sound of footsetps around the house. I glanced around me and noticed I was in a pink bed, confused on where I was. Then I recalled what had happened before, as I sighed sadly. Why did I choose Garroth..? I didn't think he would backstab me like he did... I sat up on the bed and stretched, noticing that the whole room was decorated in pink. Pink bed, pink walls, pink everything! Except for the hardwood floor... Was this Reese's room? It might have been.. I got up from the bed, my feet presses against the soft pink wool, and slowly walked out of the room. The house was quite nice, the sunlight coming in through all of the open window as a summer breeze passed through. I walked down the stairs quietly, in case anyone was awake and found myself walking towards the smell of some kind of food being cooked.

"Good morning, F/N!" Reese greeted me happily as he flipped a pancake into the air.

I lightly waved as I sat down on a small stool, taking in the scents of the breakfast he was preparing. He making a batch of pancakes, next to that he was making bacon and sausages, with a side of eggs. Just thinking about how delicious the breakfast would be was nearly making my mouth water! I got scared out of my thoughts by a sleepy Marsh resting a hand on my shoulder.

"How are you feeling, F/N?" he asked groggily as he yawned right after.

"I'm better, thank you.." I fake a smile as I look down at the counter.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Marsh got up to answer the door and peeked his head past the wall, waving me over. I lazily walk towards him stopping in my tracks as I see who is at the door. Garroth.. I fake a kind smile as I ask him what he wants through gritted teeth.

"I came here looking for you! I've been worried about you!" He said worriedly.

His mind said otherwise though. I read his mind; when can I go back to Mikuru... I miss her more than I ever missed Y/N... He smiled at me as he hugged me. I pushed him off of me and glared at him. I slapped him in the face, earning a shocked look from both Garroth and Marsh.

"Breakfast is ready! Oh! Does your guest want to join us?" He asked kindly as he glanced at Garroth.

"No. He was just leaving." I said coldly as I slam the door in his face.

Marsh and Reese both look at me surprised, and I explained to them the situation on how Garroth cheated on me. They understood and we all ate breakfast, afterwards we watched a bit of tv. I thanked them for letting me stay with them for the time being and decided to return home. As I came out the door, I noticed that Aaron was sitting on his doorstep, seeming troubled. I was tempted to go and ask him what was the matter, but he has Aph to talk to... I don't need to bother him. I pull the hood of a hoodie that Reese gave me over my head and walk past everyone's house, going into mine. As I walk in, I see Garroth with his arm around Mikuru. 

"Get out. Now." I say sharply as I point towards the door.
