Chapter 9: Dead Enemy!

       Will looked at JJ's wound. JJ put her hand on it to try and stop the bleeding.  "Your wound?" Will asked. "It'll heal." JJ replied and Will nodded. JJ started heading up the stairs and Will starred at Izzy for a moment. He looked away and followed his wife. JJ couldn't seem to open the door and groaned. She kicked it down with all her strength and they ran in. "Mom! Dad!" Henry exclaimed in tears as he got off the bed. He ran to his mom and hugged her. Then he hugged his dad. Then the three of them went into a group hug. "Henry, are you okay?" JJ asked in tears and he nodded. "I am now." Henry replied and they sighed in relief. "Good, good." JJ commented. "I knew it." Henry told them with a smile. "Knew what, buddy?" Will asked. "That you guys would stop Izzy and save me." Henry replied. JJ and Will both smiled. "We will always save you." JJ told him and he nodded. "I know." Henry agreed and they all hugged again.
     The team made it to the house. Aaron and David nodded to each other. "Emily and Rossi stay here, Morgan and I will enter the house." Aaron told them. "Aaron." Emily commented. "You are still off your game since the explosion, so this decision is final." Aaron told her. She sighed as Aaron and Derek walked in. David watched Emily as she looked unbalanced. "Maybe you should sit." David suggested and Emily shook her head. "I'm fine." Emily told him. "Em, I think we should talk." David told her and she sighed. "Fine." Emily agreed. He forced her to sit and he sat next to her. "I know you, Prentiss. This is what you do. This is the way you act. You were taught to be tough, that you had to be. You were taught that it is not okay to cry, to seem weak at the very least. So you refuse to, and you are afraid to act sensitive, because you think that shows weakness." David explained. "It's more complicated then that." Emily told him and he shook his head. "No, it's really not. Prentiss, you basically disowned your mother." David commented and Emily sighed. "I don't want to talk about her." Emily told him and he nodded. "I know, but we need to. Prentiss, you tried to leave your mom so that you wont have those demons anymore, but it didn't work." David told her. "What do you mean, Rossi?" Emily asked. "It means that you still have a lot of demons. It's not bad to seem sensitive or vulnerable, not all the time. It's not bad to seem weak, but you are not weak. You are the strongest person I have ever met, Emily. Crying is not a sign of weakness. Vulnerability. Love. Sadness. Those are signs of strength, a different side if strength." David explained. "I can't just change who I am." Emily told him and he nodded. "You're right, you can't, and we don't watch you to change. We love who you are, we're just worried about you. But you can vanquish your demons." David told her. "Maybe you're right." Emily agreed. Emily held her stomach and turned away. "Are you okay?" David asked. "Yeah, It's just stomach pains." Emily replied. She got up and ran around to the side of the house and started puking in a bush. David got up and followed her.
      Aaron and Derek walked into the house with their guns out. Derek noticed Izzy right away and ran to her. He saw the knife in her forehead and her eyes frozen shut. He knelt down and felt her pulse. He sighed as he stood back up and faced his boss and friend. Derek shook his head and Aaron sighed. "She's working alone, right?" Derek asked as Aaron walked over to him. "From the last profile, she should be. Since I killed her boyfriend, her profile says that she won't work with anyone else." Aaron replied and Derek nodded. "Then everyone should be okay." Derek commented. "You check upstairs and I'll check downstairs." Aaron told him. Derek nodded and they split up.
     David rubbed Emily's back. She sighed as she wiped he mouth. She loome up and turned to face him. "Hey, hey. You okay?" David asked and Emily nodded. "Yeah. The explosion messed me up more then I would care to admit." Emily told him. "You think that was from the explosion?" David asked. "Well, not just that. Also the stress of almost losing a close friend." Emily told him. "And you're sure that's it?" David asked. "Yes. It has to be." Emily replied and David nodded. "Okay, as long as you're sure." David told her and she smiled. "I am." Emily told him. Then she went back to the front of the house and David followed.
     Aaron saw the basement door open and immediately had a bad feeling. He slowly walked down the stairs with his gun out and ready. He made his way down and saw a couple chairs and ropes. Looks like JJ qnd Will got away. He turned his head and saw Liam was still tied up. Aaron sighed and put his gun back in his holster. He walked up to him and untied the ropes as Liam stood up. "Thank you." Liam commented. "No problem. Where's JJ and Will?" Aaron asked. "Somewhere up there. Izzy was going to take JJ away, so Will freed himself and I told him to go and get her and not to worry about me." Liam replied and Aaron nodded. "Let's get you outside to safety. An ambulance is on its way. Aaron told him and he nodded. "Okay." Liam agreed and they both made their way out.
     Derek walked up the stairs and saw all the doors were closed, except one, and the lights were on in that one as well. Derek slowly made his way to the room with his gun out and ready. He stopped and put his back against the wall, right outside the door. He heard shifting in there. He took a breathe and nodded before jumping in front of the door with his gun pointed. JJ, Will, and Henry jumped. Derek sighed and put his gun in his holster. "Are you guys okay?" Derek asked and they nodded. "Yeah, we're great." JJ replied. "Izzy is dead." Will told him and he nodded. "I saw." Derek agreed. JJ had tears in her eyes. "Izzy said she left Michael alone. Is he okay?" JJ asked and Derek smiled. "He's great. He's with Garcia." Derek replied. JJ and Will both grinned and sighed in relief. Then JJ frowned. "Izzy told me that she killed my mom." JJ commented and Derek shook his head. "Your mom was wounded, but she's in the hospital. Alive and well." Derek replied and JJ grinned again. "Could we go now?" Henry asked and the adults laughed. "Yeah, we can go." Will agreed. They all made their way outside.
