Chapter 24: Kidnapped!

      JJ yelled and punched the door. She was in the attic and the only window had bars on it. The door opened and JJ braced herself as Brandon walked in. "You didn't think it would be that easy, did you?" Brandon asked and she glared at him. "I've never been big on easy." JJ replied and Brandon smirked. "My kind of girl." Brandon commented and JJ rolled her eyes. "I know that you've kill a lot in the past." JJ told him. "So you know who I was, and still am." Brandon commented and JJ nodded. "I know what you've done. But what I don't understand, is why you waited so long to massacre again?" JJ asked and he sighed as he sat down. "I had a one night stand and she got pregnant. I was surprisingly happy about it. The women died when my daughter was ten years old, and I raised my daughter on my own. I tried to be a good father. I had a job and a home and a life. But, things changed in the last few months." Brandon replied. "You're a psychopath, you can't help but doing this. It was surpring you went off the grid in the first place." JJ told him. "Apparently, I can't stay away from this life." Brandon agreed. JJ sighed as she slowly walked closer to him. "But you can try. Try harder. For your daughter. She needs you. She is 20 years old, but still a young. She needs her father, and you are no good to her if you die." JJ told him. "You think I'm going to die?" Brandon asked. "If you continue this path and fight, my team will stop you." JJ told him and he laughed. "That's cute." Brandon commented as he stood up. "Quite the opposite." JJ told him. He punched him in the face and knocked him out.
     JJ ran out of the house and saw that they were in the middle of no where. She stepped on the rocks to get across the lake. She got into the van, but didn't have any keys to get started. She started trying to hijack. Derek taught it to her before, in a case of emergency, like this. The van started as Brandon walked out it the house. JJ drove away and Brandon followed. JJ turned the corner and Brandon stopped and watched the van driving away. He held up a gun and shot the tire twice. The van spiraled out of control and crashed into a tree, causing Brandin to smirk.
      David was driving for a while. He groaned, getting frustrated. He has a feeling he's getting close, but he doesn't know how close or if he is close at all. But his instincts usually pan out, so he got use to always following them, no matter what. He hope's that JJ is okay. He also hope that Spencer and Derek are okay as well. He got a call and answered it. "Hey, Garcia." David greeted. "Oh, good. You're okay. What happened? I lost signal and couldn't reach anyone. Is everyone okay?" Penelope asked. "Reid and Morgan are bring treated and I'm looking for JJ." David replied. "Why are you looking for her? Where is she?" Penelope asked and David sighed. "The Unsub kidnapped her." David replied. "Oh my gosh." Penelope commented. "The Unsub's daughter is helping us. She told me where her dad may have taken JJ and is keeping an eye on Reid and Morgan for me." David told her. "That's a silver lining, I suppose." Penelope agreed. "I'll keep you posted." David told her and she sighed. "Okay. Thank you, Rossi." Penelope agreed and they hung up.
     David saw a van coming toward him and a loud bang was heard twice as the can swirved and crashed into a tree. David gasped as he hit the break with force. He got out as Brandon ran over to him, and they both held up their guns. "Put the gun down!" David yelled. "Not a change, Agent Rossi." Brandon told him. "You know my name?" David asked. "Just like you, I did my research." Brandon replied. "Let JJ go." David told him and he laughed. "No." Brandon told him. "I don't want to shoot you, but I will." David told him. "That's the difference between us, I want to shoot you and I will be glad to." Brandon told him. They both glared at one another as they got their guns ready.
      Dianne walked into Derek's hospital room and he sighed as he stood up. "Are you okay?" Dianne asked. "Fine." Derek replied. "Are you sure?" Dianne. "Yes, young lady. I'm feeling much better." Derek replied and Dianne nodded. "Agent Reid just woke up. I don't know if he's in any mood to stand up, though." Dianne told him. "Thank you." Derek commented and she smiled. "Of course, Agent Morgan." Dianne agreed. "Where is Agent Rossi?" Derek asked. "He left to find Agent Jearu." Dianne replied. "And where is she?" Derek asked and Dianne sighed. "She was kidnapped by my father." Dianne replied and Derek gasped. "I need to get Reid and we need to find Rossi and JJ." Derek told her. He walked into Spencer's hospital room and Dianne followed him. "Reid, we have to go." Derek told him. "What's up?" Spencer asked as he stood up. "The unsub kidnapped JJ and Rossi went to find her." Derek replied. "Let's go." Spencer told him as they started leaving. "Will you tell me what happens with my dad?" Dianne asked and Spencer nodded. "Of course." Spencer replied. Dianne sighed as she watched them leave.
     JJ coughed as her head was bleeding. She was unconscious, but she has finally woke up. The window was cracked and she punched it, making it shatter and fall. She saw David and Brandon pointing guns at one another, and her eyes widened. She opened the car door and slammed it. The both looked at her as she coughed. Brandon turned toward her as he pointed his gun at her. David and JJ both gasped. Brandon was about to pull the trigger when David shot his gun. Brandon widened his eyes as he fell. JJ sighed as she held her head in pain. David walked slowly toward him and check his pulse. He sighed as he put his gun down. A black van pulled out and Spencer and Derek got out as David stood up. "Are you guys okay?" Derek asked. "Yeah." David replied. JJ fell to the ground and coughed. "JJ!" Spencer exclaimed as he ran up to her and helped balance her up. "Is he dead?" Derek asked and David nodded. "Yeah, he is." David replied.
