For the past 3 months, Gio has been acting quite strange. He comes home late, with little to no explanation as to where he was. Little things of mine, like jewelry, or scarfs, go missing. And he is always on his phone when he isn't talking to someone in the room, even if someone else is in the room he might be on his phone. All the signs point to him cheating, I know this is what he has been doing but I don't have any concrete evidence yet.
That first time when my blouse went missing and he smashed the lamp, I chose to confront him. He said it had something to do with his job as CEO at his CGI company. However, I didn't believe him, Giovanni has this habit where he will tap his left foot when he gets nervous and often he doesn't make eye contact when speaking. Then the next morning, the blouse was in my closet freshly washed and dried. After that, I knew he wouldn't fess up so I've chosen to write down the evidence and the time whenever something happens. He always could have told me, but he didn't.
Every time I hear about someone cheating they can never explain why they did it. They will say they were blinded by lust and that they are sorry, but they never would've cheated if they had truly still loved the person. And then the person who was cheated on always leaves and comes back saying they forgive them, those people are weak. Yes, you love who you love, but that doesn't mean that love is in the right place. Once someone has cheated they've broken your trust, and since trust is key in a relationship essentially your entire foundation comes crumbling down.
Now I just need the actual evidence, him with another girl. Then I can release all the evidence to some newspaper and let the gossip spread. I've never been one for revenge, but this calls for it. 2 1/2 years we were together. If he wanted someone else he would just break up with me, yes it would hurt, but so much less than someone stabbing you in the back.
I knew this plan would hurt him, he's the chief executive officer (CEO) of Misdirection Studios. Yes, it sounds like a magic name but its actually one of the largest CGI studios in the country. The had done lots of work with large films, mostly Disney and Pixar. He worked in a really cool industry and being the CEO the job was really laid back, he somehow made time for us. Yet, as our time together progressed, he was constantly more and more busy with different 'projects' as he said. Project, ha! more like a conquest, her.
-3 hours later -
I check the simplistic watch on my wrist, 11:50. Perfect, by the time I make it to his office it'll be about noon. I actually made an attempt at my appearance today, I'm wearing black flowy pants and that white blouse that 'went missing' when things first started getting weird between Gio and me. I finished the look with black clunky high heels and a black and gold belt, I put the top half of my hair into a braided bun and let the rest flow in its natural curl. As for makeup, well, I didn't wear any, I never do, y'all naysayers can hate all you want but natural beauty is 10,000x better than any fakeness and enhancing you have done.

As I walk into the building I recieve a number of suprised looks from the employees rushing about doing their jobs. After taking a quick look around I locate the person who appears to be directing everything. I start walking towards them while continuing to survey the CGI studio.
"Hey! Put that greenscreen over there" the person directs pointing at an empty space. "Jenna, Ashley, Grey, and Tony. I need you guys in studio C they are doing work on the Avengers project right now, you are my go-to's. Now shoo!"
They stop talking for a bit and I take this as my chance. "Excuse me!" I say as I cup my hands around my mouth since there is a lot of noise in the large space. The person turns quickly on their heels and their eyes meet mine. "Hi. I'm Rosie, I need to speak to Giovanni Carrozza."
His face changes to a surprised look as he quickly looks around the space. "Um... You're his girlfriend, right?" He says still glancing around at the commotion surrounding us. "Yes, just a moment while I talk to someone, by the way, I'm Kurt. Just wait here I'll be back in a minute."
"Ok thank you," I say as Kurt turns his back and walks towards a group of people.
As he greets them he turns to take a quick glance at me, then turns back to the people standing with him. He starts making motions with his hands then turns and points at me, all of their faces quickly change to a scared look as they point towards Gio's office across the studio. Kurt sighs and turns to walk back to me.
What is going on?
Then Kurt reappears in front of me and says "He's in with a potential client right now he won't be done for a while" His eyes dart from mine to the door of Gio's office. "You should just go home."
"No. I have an important matter to discuss with him, I will speak to him as soon as he is finished I'll just wait in one of the sound booths, I know they are hardly ever used." I say motioning with my hands to the journal in my hand and then to the booth that is located on the left side of the room.
"Ok, that uh- should be fine," Kurt says quickly, turning to continue to direct the people.
I assume he is done talking to me and I begin walking to the sound stages across the room. I choose the one in the corner of the room, Studio G. As I turn to open the door I hear a few quiet scuffles and thuds. Confused, I look through the small window on the door to find the blinds mostly pulled down but there is a small crack at the bottom. Looking through it, I see a seen I wasn't prepared for, I knew I would find something but I didn't think I would see it so soon. There, in the sound room, Gio and another woman are both naked and kissing each other as if their lives depend on it.
Recovering from the sight before me, I grab my phone and take a couple of pictures. Even though I am appalled that I was right, he is cheating, I know what I came here to do. Not only do I have these pictures but I also have videos of his angry behavior, the smashed lamp, and other pictures/videos of his odd behavior over the months. Finally, I have proof. If a cheater is going to be taught a lesson it is not by forgiving them and pretending nothing happened. No, it should be by being humiliated for their infidelity.
I move away from the stage and head for the door. I see Kurt on my way out and inform him to tell Gio that when he comes home I won't be there. He looks confused wondering if I knew what was happening.
"I had a hunch. I'm not one of those bimbo's who is so head over heels in love with someone that I don't see they are being unfaithful." and with that, I head out of the studio and back to my parked car.
Getting in, I drive off to XYZ News.
