jonah didn't feel anything.

he felt numb.

he had no tears left to cry, so he was just laying in bed, staring at the ceiling. he was praying. praying that his dad could hear the words he kept repeating.

i'm so sorry i disappointed you. i love you.

he kept repeating them over and over. he didn't stop, until jack entered the room.

he didn't want his boyfriend to know how much he was hurting. but obviously, the younger could see right through him.

"hey, baby." jack said as he laid down. he hugged jonah as tight as ever, kissing the top of his head. the taller boy sobbed, trying not to do it too loud, but obviously failing. "i'm so sorry."

"it's not your fault." jonah mumbled.

"i know, but i feel bad. because if it wasn't for me he wouldn't have found about your sexuality." jack played with jonah's hair.

"he would've found out sooner or later anyways." jonah looked up to him.

jack simply nodded as he kept playing with his boyfriend's hair. he hugged him once again, whispering comforting phrases into his ear as he rubbed circles in his back.

"you won't go through this alone. i'll always be here for you. i promise."
