I'm in love. Just don't let anyone know I admitted it. Jason will give me hell for it. I fall into another one. The hydra. The poison. The save. The death. It's a never-ending cycle. I get up for a few seconds to walk to his cabin, but I stop myself when I see Annabeth wedging her way in through my cabin window. "What the Hades?" I let her in. "I know it's late and all, but this is an emergency and you know Reyna better than anyone." "Wait..." It all clicks together in my head. The way she stared at her until she was caught. "I'm sorry Annie, but I can't help you. I'm no good at this love stuff." She gives me a look that's a mix between surprise and contempt. Good. She leaves. What the fuck? She's in love with Reyna? Reyna Ramirez-Arellano? Safe to say I didn't see that coming. Super out of left field. Well, I might as well head to sleep. I don't think I'm gonna have nightmares after that.
