"No." I say so loud it might as well be yelling. I quiet down and respond, "Do you have any idea..." I clutch his hand and put the other on his cheek, which is warm and it's all I can do not to shiver. "...how long I've been waiting for this?" I drag him away from the lake and bring him to my cabin. At this point I can't hold it in any longer. I kiss him. I let go of what I've been holding onto for so long. He pulls me in and kisses me back, and now I'm barely breathing. "Without the nightmares, you're literally all I've been dreaming about. I love you, Percy." He smiles and says, "I love you too, Neeks." Normally I'd punch him for calling me that, but I can't. It sounds so good coming from him. So... safe. I sleep in the hoodie again tonight, but this time is different. This time, I wake up in his arms.
