What? He wants me to meet him at the lake? Honestly, with his water control, he's probably just gonna end up drowning me. I'm barely paying attention to the campfire, I'm mostly looking at him. Emerald eyes (that I hope don't notice I'm wearing his hoodie), a smile that has me melting in a puddle on the ground, ripped up Camp Half-Blood t-shirt hanging off his shoulders... how much more in love can I get? He's absolutely incredible. He whispers something to the Apollo kid playing guitar, who nods and switches into something I've never heard. So, go figure, the rest of the camp has. They all start singing, but Percy just smiles at me silently. At some point I start to listen to the lyrics, which- what? This can't be real. Maybe Percy's playing wingman for somebody. Yeah, that's probably it.

Trying not to freak when you look at me

Piper is looking at me, then at Percy, back and forth with the biggest eyes, but she has the wrong idea. I love him, but there is no possible way the guy feels the same way I do. And Jason is sitting there with the biggest grin on his face. That has to hurt. He slugs Percy with the arm that isn't around Piper and says something. I can't hear him over the rest of the campers, but it looks like "Dude. You're a genius." I chuckle to myself. Wait... if Percy's wingman-ing, whose message is this? I glare at Solace, who lifts his hands. No idea, Nico, he mouths. Then who? Before I know it, the campfire is over and I'm impulsively heading to my cabin when I switch paths to the lake. What the Hades is going to happen now?
