Chapter 2: How we Met

Natsu P.O.V

It's now Saturday and me and Lucy go visit our parents' graves (her parents and my parents duhh). Jude and Layla Heartfilia were Lucy's parents and Igneel and Grandine Dragneel were me and Wendy's parents. Their graves lie side by side to each other since they were the best of friends like me and Luce are. We actually met before our parents introduced us to each other.

                      *Flash back*

Natsu P.O.V

I was walking around in the park then I heard a sudden noise. It had sounded like someone was crying. So I followed the trail of the ones crying voice. I had ended up stopping by a backyard. When I looked to see who it was I was amazed. It was a little girl about my age with short blonde hair with a side pony tail and big beautiful brown eyes that seemed to sparkle while she was crying. I walked up to her, at first she stopped and was startled but then went back to crying. "What's wrong? Why are you crying ?" I asked the blonde. " My daddy won't  let me outside and it makes me sad because I can't play with or make any friends. *sob* *sob*" she replied. " Hey I can come here every day and we can play together!" "But-" " Don't worry it's fine. I won't get in trouble I promise." I told her and held out my pinky. She smiled at me and wrapped her pinky around mines which made me really happy and grin a stupid looking smile that made her laugh "  I'm Natsu. " " I'm Lucy." we greeted each other and then started playing games. After a few weeks had passed her mother discovered me and decided to keep it a secret from her father as well. Another week had passed and I didn't visit her but realised I was going some where with my parents while little Wendy was at home with the maids ( Yes I lived in a wealthy family and Wendy was still a baby). When we arrived to our destination we were greeted by many maids and butlers but I kept getting the feeling that I had been there before. When we went in the house to greet the family that lived there I was shocked when I saw right in front of me Lucy, who looked absolutely beautiful in her pink and purple dress, and I could tell she was shocked when she saw me too. " Lucy..." " Natsu... ". A few years had went by and as we were doing homework together in her room we found out something tragic. Our parents had instantly died from a car accident as they were all coming from a meeting. It was very sad and depressing and eventually both of our families businesses were shut down.

             * End of Flashback *

I stared at the graves then glanced at Lucy who had placed flowers on her parents graves and I did the same. " Miss you both, Momma Papa." she whispered and stood back up. After she stood up she looked at me and smiled and suggested that she would go on and meet up with the rest of the girls. " I'll take you there. Since we now have to look out for each other." I said but whispered the last part. She smiled and walked towards me and started crying. I put my arm around her shoulder and we began to walk to the mall.

Levy P.O.V

" Where is Lu-chan?  She's late." I complained then Erza patted my head and said she still needed to take her time and I nodded. Suddenly I saw some blonde and pink hair in a distance and realised it was Lu-chan and Natsu-san!! I was sooo happy when I saw them and began to run up to them.

Then I began to slow down as I saw them both with sad and red faces. I had believed it was from all their crying. Then Natsu had noticed me and turned his face from my direction to hide his red face and he wiped away his last tears. Lucy noticed and looked at me and I ran up to her and hugged her while Natsu began to let go of her. She had told me that everything was fine I knew she was telling the truth but it still bugged me seeing my best friend crying. Then everyone else began to come towards us and we all began our shopping.

Hey guys sorry for not updating for a couple of days. Since school started I've been getting homework and had been doing chores. ;(;( Anyway I hope you all read my next chapter 'Chapter 3 Our Crazy Weekend ' . Bye!!
