Chapter 13: I'll Protect You Luce

Lucy P.O.V.

I'm glad now that lately Natsu's been by my side but it is a little weird since it's nonstop too. I wonder if he's taking this protecting me thing a little to far now.

As we walk down the hallway to go to our next class Natsu stays in front of me making sure no one tries to beat me up or hurt or say anything mean to me. While we were walking I somehow felt something get shoved inside of my book bag. When I turn around to see who it was I started to feel someone pull on my hair. "Oowwww!!" I yell.

When I do I see Natsu turn around and run towards me and pulls a girl and a guy off of me. He pushes the girl over to the wall and was about to punch the guy until the guy had said "Hey hey Natsu calm down. I wasn't hurting Lucy I was trying to get that girl off of Lucy, so chill out man." Natsu then looked at him and I guess he saw truth in his eyes so he let him go.

He then came back over to me and held onto me by my arm and we quickly speed walked to our class.

Levy P.O.V.

I still walk in the hallway with books in my hands to get in my next class. As I do I see Natsu and Lucy speed walk pass me. I turn towards them and sigh. I say in my mind "Natsu your taking this kinda far now." I sigh again and walk back to my next class.

After a few hours of school....

Natsu P.O.V.

School is over now and I decided to walk with Luce back home. When I looked to see her I could tell that she was kinda upset. I lift her chin up so she could look at me, I say to her "Ne Lucy. What's wrong?? You don't look too happy now." She then turned her head from me and sighed and continued to walk home.

I catch up with her and take her by her arm and turn her to me. "Luce please tell me. I need to know." She sighed and looked up to me and said "Natsu it's just that your being way over protective now. I can handle some things on my own, I'm not a child. Please at least let me go to the bathroom on my own. Whenever I do go your always right by the door and keep listening out for me. Please let me do some things on my own Natsu please." She then gave me her adorable puppy dog eyes which she knows I can't resist.

"Alright fine fine. But you come straight to me when something is wrong okay." I said to her with a serious face. She smiled and nodded to me "Hai Natsu." She then gave me her cute little smile and we finished walking back home.

The Next Day......

Lucy P.O.V.

I wake up and rub my eyes and look around my room and smile a little. I get out of bed and go to the bathroom and get in the shower for about 30 minutes. When I got out and put my work clothes on I went downstairs but only to see Natsu and Wendy sleeping on my couches.

I sigh and shake Wendy lightly to wake her up. But when I got to Natsu I picked up the air horn he sometimes brings to wake me up, and pushed the button having the loud noise in his ear as I yell "WAKE UP NATSU!"

"WAAAAH!!!" He screamed and fell off the couch. I giggle at him and he says to me "Oww. What the hell Lucy?!" "Now you know how I feel Natsu :-P." He then got up and rubbed my head and went to the bathroom to get in the shower as I then started making breakfast with Wendy.
