Jamie Parker And the Girl In The Fireplace Part 2

Jamies POV

"You never do realize how creepy something is until you're either in it or with it" Jamie said to herself as Rose, Mickey and herself walked down the long corridor of machinery and metal looking boxes.

"Why do you say that" Rose asked looking at Jamie as they continued walking

"Well as you know I'm not from here, this dimension. You guys were a show to me and when I watched this on my t.v. it didn't look scary at all, but now that here I'm terrified." Jamie explained to Rose as they continued their walk down the hall. While walking Rose and Mickey found what looked to be a eyeball in hole attached to wires and a heart also attached to some more wires. Jamie knew exactly what that was and again it terrified her. She wondered what she would do when it came for her to be with Amelia and weeping angels.

"Maybe it wasn't a real heart." Mickey said in slight worry.

"Course it was a real heart." Rose states and Jamie nods in agreement.

"Is this like normal for you guys ? Is this an average day?" Mickey asks more question.

"Normal for Rose , but then again what is ones normal" Jamie said with a small smile as she thought about Clara who she had yet to meet but could not help but think off all of her ' oh so normal life'

"Oi! Don't get philosophical with me!" Mickey says back towards Jamie.

" Life with the Doctor is just every day but with adventure." Jamie tells him once more before they stop in front of a large window.

"It's France again. We can see France. " Mickey says in amazement as they stare at the world in front of them

"I think we're looking through a mirror. " Rose questions almost then turns to Jamie

"Sure looks it doesn't it Rosie, It is not though" Jamie explains to Rose " I am calling you Rosie from now on by the way" She tells Rose who simply gives her a nod.

"Blimey, look at this guy. Who does he think he is? " Mickey questions

"The King of France." The Doctor says has he walks up behind the trio giving them a slight scare

"Oh, here's trouble. What you been up to? " Rose and Jamie end up saying at the same time causing the Doctor to give a small laugh

"Oh, this and that. Became the imaginary friend of a future French aristocrat, picked a fight with a clockwork man and Jamie I told you to go to the TARDIS " The Doctor explains but then turns to concern and worry at Jamie. Before Jamie could continue a white horse came up behind the Doctor and neighed "Oh, and I met a horse. "

"What's a horse doing on a spaceship? " Mickey questions once more obviously more confused than the last time.

"Mickey, what's pre-Revolutionary France doing on a spaceship? Get a little perspective. See these? They're all over the place. On every deck. Gateways to history. But not just any old history." The Doctor explains more fully trying to get Mickey on track. As if just in time Reinette walked in the room that was shown through the mirror window and gave a small bow to the king.

"Hers. Time windows deliberately arranged along the life of one particular woman. A spaceship from the fifty first century stalking a woman from the eighteenth. Why?" The Doctor goes to explain again only for Rose and Mickey to give him a look of confusion.

" Who is she?" Rose asks giving Jamie look.

"Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson, known to her friends as Reinette. One of the most accomplished women who ever lived." Jamie answered with excitement in her voice "I loved learning about her in school, I wrote a whole paper on her ...ow. That hurt" Jamie goes on only for here to crutch her side in pain.

" you okay Jams?" Mickey asked Jamie in concern she only could give a nod in return before Rose spoke.

" So has she got plans of being the Queen, then?"

"No, he's already got a Queen. She's got plans of being his mistress."

"Oh, I get it. Camilla."

" I think this is the night they met. The night of the Yew Tree ball. In no time at flat, she'll get herself established as his official mistress, with her own rooms at the palace. Even her own title. Madame de Pompadour." The Doctor finished up explaining once again and they all turned towards the window as they watch the king and his servants leave the room and watch as reinette checks her appearance in the mirror. Jamie could not help but notice the look on the Doctors face as he watched reinette , she also could not help but feel the small piece of jealousy sinking into her heart.

"The Queen must have loved her." Rose went on to say looking at the Doctor.

"Oh, she did. They get on very well." Jamie spoke cutting off the Doctor and cause Rose to look at her.

"The King's wife and the King's girlfriend?" Mickey questioned.

"France. It's a different planet." The Doctor shrugged his shoulders as he told Mickey.

The Doctor had disappeared back to see Reinette and Jamie had somehow managed to find her way back to the TARDIS without getting caught by one of those clockwork men that would soon capture Rose and MIckey. Sure Jamie felt bad about leaving them behind but her ribs were hurting and it felt like she was being crushed by a million boulders. Jamie had made her way up to the medical bay of the tardis and could hear the old girl giving hums as she guided her along the path. Jamie was able to understand everything that the old girl was telling her. She hummed things like..

"This way Jams"

"You need to relax"

" Come lay down and clear your mind, you must let your body heal"

Jamie would reply with questions but would get no response other than yes and no

"Why do you call me 'Jams'?"

"Which way to where sexy?"

"How do I clear my mind ? I always feel busy"

Jamie continued to lay on the bed of the medical bay until she heard the doors of the TARDIS open and close and the Doctors frantic yelling about how they were going to show Reinette the stars and more. He had always sounded so excited when wanting to impress new people. Jamie knew that the Doctor wouldn't get to show the famous lady her stars but she also knew that Reinette had already seen it inside the Doctors head.

He had finally remembered that Jamie had been in the medical bay of the TARDIS because the poor girl could not land on her feet whatsoever.

"Are you okay Jamie?" The Doctor said as he reached over and grabbed her hand

"Never been better , I love breaking bones and then healing at a weirdly fast pace." Jamie responded sarcastically towards him as she began to sit up but only gave a small wince in return of it. The Doctor let out a small laugh before grabbing Jamie hand tighter and telling her that he knew how to make the pain go away faster

"and how do I do that Doc?"

"your whole being is made up of time energy , you just have to focus solely on healing whatever is broken and the process will speed up" The Doctor explained "This is your first time doing this so it could either send you into a jump or knock you out for a couple of day"

"Either way it's better than laughing and feeling pain right" Jamie said as she gave him a small smile

Jamie began to focus on healing her ribs and anything else felt damaged , she could feel the time energy flowing through her as it mended broken bones and healed bruises. Almost everything felt better in just minutes and the second Jamie stopped she began to glow a dusty grey orange color. She looked up at the Doctor once more and only saw him smile at her and before she knew what had fully happened Jamie was in the main console area of the tardis that was either tens or nines...

"Oh hello Jamie, I see you've landed on your feet"
