CAREFULLY i took the cake that i had baked, out. it was a chocolate lava cake, and i had secretly put more chocolate in when baking. "oh? i thought gguk ordered icing?" says one of the friends, to which i answer with a curt nod and holding up of my trusty piping bag, which was already full with chocolate icing. they reply an 'oh', while i get to work.

icing is easy, and does not take a lot of time. within minutes i was done, to my disappointment. the cake looked fine, but i checked for imperfections. and checked again. it must be perfect.

"erm... it's fine, and you can leave," jeongguk says, not unkindly. i startle, and my careless hand accidentally swipes a small portion of icing off. for once, i silently thanked my unthinking hand. i ignore his comment and go back to re-icing the cake.

"oh, get out already! the cake is fine, and jimin will be here any time soon," says friend number six, who is slouched across the couch opposite me.

i turned a furious eye at the man, who shrunk, just a little. how dare he! sure, i might be taking a long time, but that did not mean he could chase me out before i was done! "if it's perfect, you're blind, you gay son-of-a-bitch," i mutter under my breath. once it leaves my mouth, i immediately regret it. the friend hears, and shuts his mouth for good.

i huff a breath and take a look at the cake. it satisfies my perfectionist self.

i do not even remember you in my fury. i stalk out of the house and slam your door, quick to ride away.
